As currently constructed, the Jazz have a lot of players who are most effective as secondary playmakers. What everyone needs is a lead guard that can create the initial advantages that others can parlay. The whole roster craves a guy that can touch the paint at will.

Things are set up pretty well for Collier.

I don't think he gets the starting job as soon as he should. But I feel like being aggressive here so I'm gonna say 10-20.

I like Keyonte but until he shoots over 40 percent from the field for a whole season- he is a viable nba guard.
He was a rookie.... Who cares what he shot? He's got the potential to be an elite off the dribble shooter as a guard and that's what your PG has to be at the NBA level and it's what Collier cant really do.

Except he did the same thing at Baylor. Now that is two years in a row. If it becomes three he might not be a good player.

Rookies that get a high volume of shots are almost never efficient scorers their rookie seasons. The list of stars throughout NBA history is littered with such players.

Would it shock you if I told you that rookie Keyonte George had a virtually identical scoring efficiency as rookie Devin Booker? And was actually more efficient than rookie Kevin Durant?
