When he finally cracked the rotation he was probably our best 3pt shooter.

Juzang quietly had an awesome season. Yeah, I know, he played mostly in March-April when many teams tanked... But even if you compare him to other Jazz players: he had the second best defensive rating on the team after only Kessler. Juzang was pretty good on offense too and, as a result, had the 4th best net rating, after only Markkanen , Dunn and Fontecchio (all seasoned veterans). His TS was 62%, which is great for a guard. Finally, he became quite decent at passing and very, very good at not turning the ball over (he was the second best in the TO% behind Markkanen).

Juzang made huge strides compared to the 2022-23 season and could keep getting better. And Johnny is only 23.

He definitely has a shot at making the rotation with the roster as currently constructed. I would say it's between him and Brice for the last regular rotation spot.

Feels right. Juzang can pick up minutes behind Lauri and Taylor.

I bet Collins starts (though not sure he starts at the 4 or 5). I also bet that clarkson gets more minutes than Key or Sexton but I do think he comes off the bench.

I think that the front office is future focused right now and they are likely coming to the conclusion that Collins isn't part of the future or an asset that can increase in value.
