One of the reasons that people have been programmed to hate Trump is because he's supposedly racist. Biden comes out and completely forgets his secretary of defenses name, so he just racistly points to his skin color to identify him. The party of pro assassination and pedophilia jokes(JD Vance though 8 years ago), don't say a damn word about blatant racism. They all but ignore it. Maybe you just don't see it. Maybe being racist is just part of your daily life and your ignorant of it. I dunno.

My takeaway from this week is that Trump is the most vulnerable since 2015. He doesn’t have the calm vanilla running mate he had in 2016. He doesn’t have the power of incumbency he had in 2020. He’s got the weirdo VP that did nothing to expand his base, more than half the country dislikes him, and he’s definitely lost a step. His act is just so stale. If Democrats get their act together and field a competent opponent who can kick ***, I see Democrats rallying the electorate and trashing this cult into the dustbin of history. The fact is, abortion, racism, fascism and of law are still very salient issues. Democrats just need a candidate who can remind voters of these issues. Remind them how a vote for Trump is a vote for fascism and taking away women’s health care.

Why should anyone be surprised? Do Utahns have memories of goldfish? He’s Republican. As much as Cox has tried to distance himself from Trump, he can’t quit him because doing so would mean ending up like Cheney, Kinzinger, and Romney. As much as some people want to convince themselves otherwise, the GOP is a fascist cult of personality. All that matters is fealty to Trump. It’s nothing like the Democratic Party, where party leaders and a chunk of the electorate are about to throw a wildly successful president overboard because he’s unable to campaign anymore. In America, we have one fascist cult of personality, a reactionary party by international standards and a moderate democratic party, very conservative by international standards.

Yeah, looked like Cox might have had the conviction to hold out but he caved to the cult. His political career is more important than his soul.

Biden was SELECTED for you. All the other candidates conveniently dropped out all of a sudden, even though Biden wasn’t securing the votes in the primary. All except Warren who eventually dropped out.

Now many in dem party are panicking and want to SELECT someone other than Biden.

This is the party claiming to “defend democracy.” They’re the opposite of democratic. Oh the irony.

I’m just here to help y’all.

If the dems were actually democratic, then Bernie Sanders should’ve been the candidate in both 2016 AND 2020.
But dem party is a bunch corrupt liars. It’s all talk and empty rhetoric.

The broader point of us living in an undemocratic dystopia is true. Unfortunately, the Republicans are the freak-laden and dirtier side of the same coin. Both don't represent me (and you btw, good job aggressively voting against your own interests). I'm out here voting for Dems because, at the very least, the march to pure fascism slows down.

Trump is the only candidate I’ve ever voted for who actually won. He represents my interests. He isn’t fascist, in spite of the constant labeling.

I’ve always voted independent. I’d rather throw my vote away than vote for the duopoly. Trump never would’ve won had he run as an independent. But he conquered the neo con’s party and has succeeded in remaking it as representative of the “forgotten man.”
