Simple question:

Do you think it will be easier to compete for a championship in the next 3 years or the following 3 years after those 3?

For reference, I'm using those years because that is the time left on Wemby's rookie deal.

Basically do you think it's easier to get a title in a strong West but a West that doesn't have a true front runner, or when Wemby will be entering his prime and still on an affordable fun max and not the 3rd contract max.

I think making decisions based off of a single NBA player who has done nothing of note in his career is loser behavior.

I think the best thing to do is to build the best team that you possibly can regardless of what other teams are doing.

It's just a question brother. Lmao at people who are scared to answer because it might conflict with their tank mentality

My answer is both. Build the best team you can regardless.

I think step one to doing that is complete what we have been doing so far. Get that top pick in 2025.

I think the '08 Celtics strategy is more likely to get a title than building through the draft, so I voted next 3 years.
You think it’s more likely a recent MVP (one of the greatest two-way players ever) and one the greatest shooters of all time become available for two premium future-facing assets, each? Lauri also isn’t quite as good as Paul Pierce (Pierce was super clutch).

It’s worth noting that strategy hasn’t worked since.
