What's new

For those of you BYU pukes cheering Jimmer...

Sorry, but you're either Jazz fans or you're not...

And any fan in that building cheering when Jimmer does something good that is not a Sacramento Kings fan is NOT a true Jazz fan in my eyes...

I hate this states fans... Half of them are clueless and the other half are worse...

And yes, it is due to the LDS culture... A baseless cult, with a rocky foundation at best...

There I said it...

Deal with it!

Harsh! I find it odd that one person tells another person who and what kind of fan they should be. I suppose you don't like the LDS church because it tells people how to think and be. And you are trying to do the same. There, I said it. ;)

So this is an internet message board thread for people currently at the NBA game in question?

So the puke U of U fans who cheered Tom Chambers back in the day weren't true Jazz fans? And the ones who currently cheer for Andre Miller or Andrew Bogut (when he's healthy) are also puke fans? Does the same hold true for cheering for ex-Jazz players to do well when they come back to Utah, but also cheering for their new teams to lose, or is that not allowed? I thought we weren't supposed to boo Deron, Okur, Boozer, etc. Is polite applause ok during the player introductions? Or maybe this is a Jimmer-only rule. Sounds like someone has a little bit of pe..., I mean point guard envy. Perhaps because your own umm, basketballs are a little small?

Please don't try and confuse us with sound logic.

I really wasn't telling anybody what to do, I just think it's a joke... And you're right about the LDS church... It's "Leave your brain at the door" when you walk in those doors...

At least my pastor encourages me to "question" things within my own faith... You do it in a Mormon church, and you will probably find yourself excommunicated... To me, the proof is in the pudding...

Or otherwise... If you cheer for him against "your team"... Then call yourself a casual fan that cheers for certain players, I will accept that... But I won't accept you as a Jazz fan because you're not... JMO

Thanks for the compliment re: the LDS church. As Jesus said in the Bible, the foundation of a church should be built upon the rocks, not upon the sand.
[h=3]Matthew 7:24-27[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]24[/SUP]Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[SUP]25[/SUP]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[SUP]26[/SUP]And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [SUP]27[/SUP]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

No... Believe it or not, even though my post pretty much slandered the LDS faith, I didn't agree with that either... But those are Utah fans as a whole, you really don't see that from other fans of other teams in other states...
