Are the Jazz Not Bad?

According to reports, we were trying to land Paul George and Mikal Bridges this summer. When that didn't happen we resorted to plan C, the tank. I don't think the FO plans to be bad for longer than needed, but they also don't want to be stuck in the middle.

That said, I don't know how realistic our FO is, and also think there is a good chance the tank continues for at least another year.

Assume we’re going well (Hardy likes to win and should be allowed to), is there anybody out there at the deadline that the Jazz could trade for that would push the needle? Ingram can’t be the guy IMO. Markkanen and Hendricks is a much better combo in terms of fit I believe.

Impossible. This is opinion based. There is no right or wrong.
You say this season is a waste and will suck.

I'm extremely excited for this season.

We can't predict the future. What if the result of this season is a league MVP added to the roster?

What if this team goes to the playoffs and wins a series this season with one of the youngest cores in the league?


It's simply your pessimistic opinion and prediction of an unpredictable future that says this season will be a wasted sucky one.

That is far different than tanking. I start out every season trying to be optimistic. Heck, even the last couple of seasons there was some reason to be until Ainge nuked the team at the deadline.

What some people want here is for the Jazz to intentionally be bad so there's a chance for more ping pong balls that have a higher likelihood of not hitting than they do. And the only way for that to happen is a lousy season where the Jazz are either not competitive or that lack any sort of killer instinct.

No it's not. I included in my post adding a future MVP to the jazz as one of the possibilities. That player is aquired by losing a lot and getting a top draft pick.

This was their last preseason game where no one wants to get hurt. Missing season opener isn't nice. Good job sucking, now teams will think Jazz isn't the second coming of prime Warriors, which it in fact is.

We will be bad. How bad, it's hard to say. The team got talents but not enough to compete on my opinion.
We probably bottom 5-7
Anyway, enjoy the ride i just hope to have some fun looking the players improved and for the winning excitement, i will watch Minny.
