As far as the trans stuff, Trump will not eliminate trans people but he will in fact eliminate gender affirming care for minors. The problem lies when it gets pushed to kids who frankly aren’t of the right mind enough to make a decision like that for themselves. There is a reason we have an age to be able to drive, to drink alcohol, to smoke, etc.

California recently passed the legislation that bans telling parents about their kids being trans at school. People don’t like this stuff. Its approval rating is extremely low.

Kamala Harris saying tax payers would pay for inmates to have gender affirming surgery, etc. Who actually hears that and thinks it’s a great idea? It turns off so many people.

I think it was Sardines the other day who mentioned some extremely wrong statistics about trans that you liked and they weren’t even right! You’ll challenge anyone else for a source if it doesn’t fit what you think is right. They weren’t even close.

There is a reason why females and teams are refusing to play against teams that have a transgender-female on their team.

Your stats were misleading

The study found no gender-affirming surgeries performed on TGD youth ages 12 and younger in 2019. This was expected, the researchers said, as current international guidelines do not suggest any medical or surgical intervention for TGD individuals prior to puberty. For teens ages 15 to 17 and adults ages 18 and older, the rate of undergoing gender-affirming surgery with a TGD-related diagnosis was 2.1 per 100,000 and 5.3 per 100,000, respectively. A majority of these surgeries were chest surgeries. When considering use of gender-affirming breast reductions among cisgender males and TGD people, the study found that cisgender males accounted for the vast majority of breast reductions, with 80% of surgeries among adults performed on cisgender men and 97% of surgeries among minors performed on cisgender male teens.

“We found that gender-affirming surgeries are rarely performed for transgender minors, suggesting that U.S. surgeons are appropriately following international guidelines around assessment and care,” said co-author Elizabeth Boskey, instructor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

2.1 out of 100,000 transgender people means 6.3 total in the U.S. 6.3 total surgeries.

This is a MAJOR issue for Trump supporters.

The idea that gender affirming care is PUSHED on kids is ludicrous. Absolutely not how anything works.

You keep going back to surgeries but there are other issues than just that. I don’t even know what cisgender or TGD means so if you could expand on that it would help me understand these statistics a little more.

Now do the amount of gender-affirming care for minors.

How many children 17 and under get gender-affirming care per year?
 
A funny thing happened with trump. He got unlucky in that the pandemic hit during his term which caused a lot of chaos and he looked bad with how he dealt with that chaos and that may be part of the reason that he lost to biden.

But he was also lucky that the pandemic happened when it did. It caused massive worldwide shutdowns which caused huge supply (chain) issues. Then things opened up when biden became president and demand went way up right when supply was way down and caused massive global inflation which got trump elected the second time.

Would be interesting to see what would have happened with our last two elections if covid never happened. My guess is that trump still would have lost in 2020 (his approval rating was abysmal prior to covid after all) and then he would have lost again without the huge inflation increase to help him out in 2024.

I skipped over the border and immigration because I that is something that actually is an issue that the president can do some things to control.

For your california thing. Should school call parents and tell the parents what music they are listening too and what sports they like and what friends they have etc? Why should the school call me up and tell me that my kid is being trans while at school? So you think that kids are leaving their house totally normal, getting to school and changing their clothes and their walk and their voice and their name, and then on the way home they change back into the way they were when they left school and you think that the school should call the parents and make the parents aware of these changes? How does the school know that the change is even occurring? How does the school know what the kids are like at home?

How many inmates are getting gender affirming surgery? How much is it costing me in taxes?

There was a bipartisan immigration bill that a republican congressman drew up that would have been great for the border stuff and had support from both parties.

Trump told the republicans to kill the bill because he needed to run on the issue. It was so blatant and gross, I assumed it was common knowledge. Guess not!

I do. I dont see any issues with the numbers. I also work at an elementary school and see exactly zero issues at the school with boys wanting to be girls or girls wanting to be boys. Literally ZERO.
