That is aggravating. I watched a guy go into a car wash once covered in mud and rocks and come out the other side not quite clean, meaning he left the rocks and **** all over the hanging rags and stuff on the car wash apparatus. Glad I saw him and waited for a half dozen cars or so to go through before I did. I cannot imagine what the first guy through must have had happen to his car.

I googled about this after it happened to me to see if anything could be done about it (nope) and read about one car wash getting fishing line with a treble hook attached stuck in one of the brushes and a whole bunch of cars got scratched up really bad before it got removed

Had a really difficult night, went round to a friends place for dinner, he has a couple of kids, the last few years have been really difficult for him and his partner, they've lost their business through Covid and are struggling, they're building a new house for their family but its taking forever and they're under significant financial stress. Its awful to se them in this situation, my mate already owes me money and i think he wont ask for more cause he has no idea how to pay back what he owes me. (Im not fussed) So sad to see decent people go through times like this.

I dont consider this a stupid pet peeve (I get not starting a whole new thread though so here is as good a place as any for your post). That just sucks. Sorry mate
 
When hotels have a mirror on the wall where you're obviously going to use your laptop, so you just get to be doing work in a hotel room looking at your sad *** face the whole time.

Ohh man, this is a big one.

This is when I started just running lights in my car after I sit there alone for 45 seconds and there isn't a car as far as the eye can see.

I just don't ever use those things. I can cross a street without stopping traffic

When some celebrity dies and people post their photos with that person on facebook. It always feels to me like instead of expressing grief they display their "trophy".
 
People standing at the stop directly in front of the tram's door when it opens blocking the way for people who want out. (And I don't live in a huge city). Special mention for people trying to get in before anyone even gets out.
