Brian Thompson Killing

Eh, most of us just kill burritos and hamburgers. I killed a massive carne asada burrito just yesterday for lunch.

I view this like video games. Is there a small very tiny subset of the population for whom something like sexual frustration and maybe video game images can become part of the complex and varied tapestry that leads them to commit crimes like this? Sure, I don't doubt it. But no ****ing way it represents some massive movement that will destroy society as we know it or in no way is it big enough to warrant massive changes in society to derail a mass-killer creation pipeline of some kind. I just don't buy it. You know how many sexually repressed teens there are in Utah for ****'s sake? We should be drowning in the blood of all the mass murders in the state if that's the driving factor. Hell I'd argue that probably 90% or more of boys and men between the ages of 14 and 30 would call themselves at least somewhat sexually frustrated, or have endured years of frustration before or between their sexually fulfilling relationships. No way that is a primary driver that we can in any way do anything meaningful to mitigate. And if we did they'd find something else to help them channel their mental illness and rage into violence. Just check out EWU on YouTube and it's surprising how many people commit these crimes who are in relationships or even fathers or have girlfriends. Sorry but this is not the silver bullet. It's one thread in the fabric of some of their lives that might contribute to it. For a very few I'm sure it is the primary driver. But how do you use this info to weed out the 1 from the 10 million who is actually going to act on it? Stupid. Can't be done.

I wreaked absolute carnage on a plate of pakoras, butter chicken, lamb pasanda, rice, and naan. Just brutal.
Butter chicken is my kryptonite. Damn good thing my wife doesn't like Indian food or I'd eat it like daily. I make a great butter chicken of my own in my instant pot, perfected the recipe with my wife out of town. Took some to work and got rave reviews. Then made it for my wife when she got back and she took one bite and said "so, you actually eat this, right?"

I have often fantasized about having a butter chicken pipe coming to my house from local Indian restaurants. The stuff I make is good, but because I don't have a tandor, I can't really get the chicken and naan to perfection. Lamb pasanda is a fairly new discovery of mine, one place it's almost like butter chicken only with lamb, obviously, the stuff I got Tuesday has a lot of comin in it - I'm actually going to get it hotter next time, it seems like the heat won't distract from the flavor.

Anyway. Yes, I could murder a curry.

Hopefully Seth not Steph.

There's an urban legend Carlsberg hooked up a beer pipe to Niels Bohr's house after he won the Nobel prize. Maybe you just gotta do that.

If this was the case I'd be a mass murderer on the scale of Pol Pot. Is he recreating the Cambodian genocide? Nah he just needs a ********. There's pedestrian crossings in Chernobyl that have more recent use than my appendage.
