Minny & Cavs 2025 picks watch thread

Watching Minny games I’m convinced Randle is the biggest issue. He and Rudy just don’t go together. The only thing that will save their season is if Finch has the balls to start Naz Reid and bring Randle off the bench
Absolutely. Randle-ANT does not work too as they totally destroy the ball movement.... tonight Rudy was great, did not see the ball much but was great in defense. Mike was average, seems to find his rhythm but does not play well when Randle- ANT keep the ball way too long then throw a grenade to others when they can't shoot. They win but they we very lucky playing the Clips without Nowell and Kahwi. If Finch don't make big change, they will not be in the play off-in considering how West is tough. This year is a good year for being bad !

This Minny season reminds me of 2022. If they don't move Randle they will sink (still can't believe we saved their season with Conley and NAW, plus giving them 2nds).

Cavs have some tough games coming on the road (Denver, GSW, Dallas, Lakers) and then OKC at home. They could drop to 29 or 28 by mid-January (IND, OKC and Min on the road), followed by Suns, Houston and Philly at the end of January.

ANT was huge in the fourth tonight, play good defense, rebound and shooting well. Rudy was destroyed by Sengun, so sitting him and Mike who was awful make the game turn Minny way.
How long can they do that before they both get disgruntled though? Inner strife is going to wreck that team - no matter how talented the pieces are.

Right now neither trade is looking good with the unprotected picks. Jazz was hoping Mitchell would bolt to Miami or NY. Cav pick this year is like a 2nd round pick unless the Jazz get lucky and find a needle in a haystack. We did get Marko but right now DM for Marko is in favor of Cleveland especially since Marko is struggling this year and DM is having a great year.

It was time to get rid of Rudy, he is aging and has shown no improvement offensively. Kessler and Rudy are closer to an equal deal, but Kessler still struggles. He is younger. I think he can develop some offensive skills if he works at it. This year pick has a chance to be mid-teens to lower lottery if Wolves miss the playoffs. Conley is older too which helps too.

I'm confident the Wolves will suffer a key injury and will be back to stinking. I hope to get a 9-12 pick from them and damnit we deserve it.
