After Cooper Flagg went beserk at the Steph Curry camp in 2023, he's been mainstream since. He was highly touted but not highly known before.I havent heard of anyone from the 2025 draft class with any long-term mainstream hype.
Brother that post was months before he reclassified for the 2025 draft. Flagg was in the 2026 class before he reclassified a couple months after my post. After Cooper Flagg went beserk at the Steph Curry camp in 2023, he's been mainstream since. He was highly touted but not highly known before.
Newell could be good. IDK, he just reminds me a lot of Bagley, and Bagley could have been really good (and he was much better than Newell). I just wouldnt be excited about him, especially with our roster.
lol at Kasparas being at the end of that list.in the annoyingly likely case we don't get Flagg, good choices I think would be VJ Edgecomb, Ace Bailey, Egor Demin, Liam Mcneeley, Tre Johnson, Asa Newell, Carter Bryant, and Kasparas Jakucionis. Pretty much in that order too. Those guys could mold with the Jazz so well, and have good potential.
maybe it is just me, but i think Kas is far higher on your list. kas maybe the second best player in this drat. maybe third. he is much better than Egor.in the annoyingly likely case we don't get Flagg, good choices I think would be VJ Edgecomb, Ace Bailey, Egor Demin, Liam Mcneeley, Tre Johnson, Asa Newell, Carter Bryant, and Kasparas Jakucionis. Hes a very talented scorer. I just dont know what else he does. Hilariously low assist rate. If he measures out well, I'd be higher on him. As it stands, he's probably in the 15-20 range for me and certainly not higher than Johnson.Should Ian Jackson and Tre Johnson be talked about more closely? Ian Jackson is a year older (and very old for a freshman) and listed shorter, but I might like his game a bit more. He applies more pressure to the rim vs Tre who is more of a mid range guy.
