Water going from northern California to southern California was never the problem. Most of L.A.'s water comes from the Colorado River anyways. It is the water infrastructure in southern California that Newson has no control over. If the Army Corp's released any water from any reservoirs in northern California it was a waste of water being that the one aqueduct that actually goes from north to south was already running full. Trump is gaslighting that he did some great deed and his rabid followers are lapping it up.

Was there any expectation that any action Trump would take would have any benefit to anyone except his own self-aggrandizement? When the California citrus crop begins to fail this summer because Trump made a show of dumping water being held for those crops, Trump will blame Biden and the Dems.

Releasing farmer's water stores ... 250 miles away from LA on the other side of a mountain range that requires water to pumped over the mountains... represents nothing other than removing the water from farmers. CA is 750 miles from the wetlands up north the drylands down south. This isn't some little state where doing something a few towns over crosses half the state. When food prices go up because farms go dry, remember this photo-op.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if Donald did this. And his slobbering cult following will cheer him on all the way just as they did when he told people to try out kook remedies for Covid and claimed the 2020 election was stolen.

Today My wife got off the phone with a family member who’s on Medicaid and is worried about what Trump’s tariffs are going to do to her medicine and what Musk is going to do to her Medicaid. Sadly, a lot of good people are going to be hurt by this administration. It’s a shame we couldn’t just limit the damage to the morons who voted for Trump. I sure don’t want to be paying 25 percent tariffs on Monday because a bunch of dotards voted for this *** wipe.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-California) called the water releases “uncoordinated and unwarranted,” writing on X that it’s “not being directed to LA where the fires are contained. And now, it won’t be available when farmers need it in summer.”


So trump emptied water from reservoirs that people will need later in the year so that it could just be wasted. Probably trying to sabotage california since he didn't get their electoral votes.

Doesn’t sound helpful. But I’m sure Fox News will get some good video clips. It’ll make the teevee president look good. It’s a shame Obama, Biden and the Democrats have never been able to play this game. They’re much better with policy and governing than propaganda. Becoming President seems easy these days. Say a bunch of offensive and stupid things. Get attention from Fox News and dudebro podcasters. Make things worse with your corruption but have right wing media churn out video clips on teevee to make it appear like you’re doing something helpful.
