What's new

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

In the industry I work in, (food and beverage), a barrel = 31.5 gallons.

I agree that Trump doesn't know what he's talking about though.
Maybe what really matters is Trump lying out of his *** and despite such stupid obvious lies, 40-45 percent of the country will forever believe them. No matter what anybody else says, no matter the facts or evidence.

Just like this. Millions will now believe he recruited Mahomes all because Trump said he did. And Republicans have to go along with the game because no one dares cross mad king.

Not a cult. Definitely not a cult.

For all the noise, this is nothing but an audit. DOGE is nothing more than an independent auditing firm. They don't fire government works or shut down anything. They look at data, report findings, and make recommendations. They are auditors, and they will look at everything they have access to. right leaning, left leaning, whatever. Give them access and they'll audit it.

All of this outrage over Elon Musk being this or doing that, only shows how bad everyone involved knows things are. They are hand-waving as furiously as they can to take attention away from what they know the auditors will find. It did not escape my notice that you voiced your support for the books being audited. I applaud that and join you sentiment that I hope they look at everything equally.
Right. DOGE is nothing more than an "auditing firm" that employs teenagers whose work experience includes being fired from a cybersecurity firm for leaking company secrets, and groypers who brag about "being racist before it was cool." Nothing to see here folks, this is all very normal.

Maybe you're OK with these kids having their hands on government and private citizen data. But I would not rather live in a world where Edward "Big Balls" Coristine has access to this stuff.

He’s not smart. He’s clever and really really good at ****ing people over. A true American hero.

How much is the problem Trump being smart in knowing how to play people vs 40-45 percent of Americans being bored as **** at their lives and seeking a new religion through grievance politics, scapegoating, and having a license to say and act out their worst impulses? There is definitely a sense of freedom and liberation and being able to be as racist, misogynistic, and crude as possible, right? Perpetual adolescence is what republicans desire and what trump provides. You get to say teenage things and act like a child but they definitely don’t want consequences (like being social losers, inability to attract dates, and being fired from employment).

And these teens have access to our personal data without any background checks, security clearances, or any accountability for losing or abusing our data. So normal. It’s exactly what the founders envisioned with self-government.

I was actually proud of trump today when I saw a reporter ask him if he had any comment on the time magazine cover photo of Elon Musk sitting at trumps presidential desk and he simply answered "no"
I knew he could actually shut up. Just had to be asked the right question.
He did look pretty sad though.
They should’ve asked him for tips on how to cure bird flu. Bleach and flashlights up the chicken’s ***?

Musk hasn’t answered a single question about any of this. These people just blindly trust the dude after he joined them all last minute. So, so dumb.

Trump’s remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast clarify his dangerous intent

"Secular governance, as we all know, is not Donald Trump’s fancy. He made a torrent of statements to this effect at both breakfasts. But none were more alarming than his announcement that he was appointing Attorney General Pam Bondi to head a task force to “eradicate anti-Christian bias”

“The mission of this task force will be to immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was absolutely terrible, the IRS, the FBI ... and other agencies. In addition, the task force will work to fully prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society and to move heaven and Earth to defend the rights of Christians and religious believers nationwide. You never had that before, but this is a very powerful document I’m signing.”

The only thing I’ve seen from musk about this is bitching about them being “doxxed” and calling for the racist one, who resigned after his racist posts were exposed, be reinstated.
