Would love to hear the President address this very real issue around costs.

He’s doing all this inflationary stuff, we have bird flu, costs continue to rise.

Not an address, a plan, words of encouragement to reassurance. You know, leader ****. Just like COVID, Danold ***** the bed in an emergency.

This hurts poor people first and the most. Keep pissing them off I guess, the guillotine’s are being sharpened already. Not to mention more than half the country that care about their money and other people, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, EU, UK, and other entire countries fuuuuucking hate MAGA and Danold. They’re waiting for the left to get violent, what happens when it’s everyone smacking you in face? Just sayin….

Seriously? They are eggs. That isn't the same thing as the devaluation of the dollar which made EVERYTHING cost more. I hope Trump never does anything about the cost of eggs because the establishment of top-down price controls never works out well for the economy that imposes them.

Taking a broader look at the economic picture, wages for January were up 4%, which outpaces inflation meaning people are once again getting richer. Despite the current price shock on one thing, the Trump economy is moving in the right direction for the people.

They do not care one bit about the poor. Remember Trump demanded an apology when he was asked to have compassion on poor people. Dictators can't be bothered with that ****.

Ok, kiddo. Let’s learn to business.

How many businesses rely on eggs? Nearly the entire food manufacturing industry, every restaurant, all of us. Higher prices for producers means higher prices for consumers and possible lay offs. Restaurants and small business operate on very thin margins, again this hits them the most and the hardest. If this is not addressed, many small and local businesses will close. If another issue occurs in the supply chain and prices will continue to soar and the problems compound. Eggs are a staple food source.

Let’s be real, I can hear you breathing through the screen. You’ll feel this. Everyone will.

What do poor people, the vast majority of the population, do when they can’t afford eat?

They eat you. Time for a nap, big boy.

Vote out the Democrats who did that to them.

As mentioned above: wages for January were up 4%, which outpaces inflation meaning people are once again getting richer. Despite the current price shock on one thing, the Trump economy is moving in the right direction for the people. Despite the cost increase in one item, people are more able to afford to eat, and more able to afford gas for their car too. There is a reason Trump's approval rating keeps rising.

I do not admire how your brain works. You have to think of this as a system buddy. I know you want it to be simple to understand. But our economy is global and complex. Trump applying pressure with PERCEIVED leverage is not a sure thing. AT ALL. So many variables to consider there’s no way to know how this ends, most likely a complete mess.

Ok, wages for January still fall under the previous admins policies. I got 3 promotions and 4 COL raises during Biden’s term. Biden’s economy was good for me, my family and my community. Things were really humming. We are now on a hiring freeze for the YEAR! Economic uncertainty tightens the belts.

Prices are rising! All the ones Trump ran on reigning in. He only gets so much time before his base starts feeling the squeeze. Like they told us, they have the guns! You start taking their homes and starving them they will come for those responsible and most of us will stand with them. We’ll see if the military will protect Trump.

Good luck with this, federal massive layoffs, federal funding shutdown, and all the crises’ influencing it all with no predictable outcome and all impacting the working poor.

You claim to understand this, but then repeatedly go to anecdotal examples of single items in local scopes. I'm happy you did well in the past few years, but that again is an anecdotal example.

When I view the state of broad, complex systems, I don't look to anecdotes. I choose metrics that speak to the scope I'm talking about. Inflation is rising slower than wages. Broadly speaking, the prices of the things we buy are rising slower than the amount of income we are earning to pay for those things. That means people can buy more than they could in year's past, and their approval of that state of things is being reflected in the job approval ratings for our current President.

Your side screwed the pooch and were voted out of power for their abject failure. It is too early to declare victory, but so far I am liking what the new cooks are preparing in the kitchen. We'll see how it comes out.

Good post. But here is the problem with the cult. They will believe whatever Trump tells them, period. So the deeper things go into the sewer the more he will prattle on about how this is all Biden's fault, and his DEI policies, and we are seeing the result of liberal leadership so they need to turn on the liberals and eradicate them. So they will swallow it all, hook, line, and sinker, and they will turn on the liberals for ****ing up the economy so bad that even the Holy of Holies, Trump the Demigod can't even fix it. That's how this will play out. And the kicker is, it's already playing out that way.
