We were 10 months into the pandemic, had a vaccine with a sizable chunk of the most vulnerable already vaccinated, knew at that point COVID wasn't going to wipe everyone out, and lockdowns were easing. We could have put a potted plant behind the resolute desk and everyone would have said brighter days are coming, but it was Joe Biden who took office and America said "This is bad! This is really, really bad. I am not optimistic about our future."
If trump was smart he would have simply shut down the border and did the no men in women's sports executive action and then just chilled out and let the economy do it's thing.

I would certainly hope so. You and I have fundamental disagreements on many things, but I view you as a good person trying to do the right thing. I have that same view of many who disagree and even endlessly insult me, but that does not extend to Thriller. That guy makes too many comments about kids and gay books. That he over and over comes back to this same imagery of rectal insertion years after COVID has stopped being anything the rest of us are worried about exposes a fixation. That it pings a warning disgust response in your psyche leaving you uneasy with the comment confirms my earlier opinion of you, and I'm glad you chose to speak up.
