What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

Well you brought up rebounding, but we arent going to act like it's harder to stack rebounding numbers on Duke vs Illinois?

Kon just moves his feet better on defense. He can wall up and stay with players. Kas is a traffic cone.
Kas was extremely two-faced as a defender. He had pretty solid stretches. But he definitely coasted if he thought the game was out-of-reach. The coasting is a problem in its own right, of course; but his ceiling is better than it can seem at times.

Good point on taking the situations in context regarding the rebounding numbers, that should absolutely be considered.

Your comment about Kas being a traffic cone makes me feel like you have no idea what you are talking about, which I know isn't true.

IDK, maybe I just caught some bad games. Kas is one of the players I watched a ton of early on then stopped watching as much later.

He was really bad at screen navigation early on, but got much better as the year went on. He does get lost off ball, but I don't think it's often enough to be concerned about. He's really quite good at help and recover, which I think is a good way to see his athleticism. He's also a very good defensive rebounder.

Overall I would rate him as a slightly above average college defender, but I think he'll most likely be an average to slightly below average NBA defender.
