I think he's a strong candidate to go to Charlotte at 4 if Edgecombe goes at 3. I wouldn't read too much into these mocks.
I'm watching Fears tape. I like him. I just have a really hard time passing on Ace for him.

These highlights showcase Fears' feel and timing as a distributor. He has a knack for letting plays unfold and delivering the ball at the right moment. For example, he lets defenders wander out of position or lean off-balance before he completes a play.

He also has a 5” shorter wingspan, a smaller vertical, and shot 12% worse from the 3 than Tre.
It's just hard as a smaller player. You have to fly around the court like an electron. You have to juke and jive just to advance the ball. Meanwhile bigger players can just walk the ball right down the lane like they own the joint. Just look at how much energy guys like Curry and Brunson have to expend night in, night out.

Another size comp for Fears: Jared Butler, though Fears is +1.25" longer in wingspan. Another, as we've mentioned, is Isaiah Collier, though Collier is stockier.
