What’s the longest you’ve gone?

How hard was it for you?

I started one. Lots of greats benefits per IG which is never wrong. I am 34.5 hours in right now. Did 46 hours two years ago which wasn’t bad.

6 1/2 days. Water fast with electrolytes. I thought I posted about it on here somewhere at the time. Didn't get the benefits I kind of expected. I did accelerate my weight loss leading up to my trip to Hawaii. I've done several 3 day fasts. I kind of like that as a way to start up a diet change. Used it to get on and off keto when I played around with that for a few months several times before. I found after 2 days my appetite greatly reduced and felt and improvement in mental clarity for a few weeks after my 6 day fast. I wanted to go 14 days but circumstances made it more difficult so I cut it off at 6 days. Would recommend every now and then.

This is the start of my posting about my fast. Wish I had gone longer but 6 days was pretty good.

Fasting is one of the most underrated things you can do for your health from a conventional standpoint. I find that most people think it's insane to do a 2-3 day water fast with electrolytes. I fasted once for 107 hours. It was very difficult and there were moments past 72 hours where I nearly wilted and began eating again. But It was profoundly beneficial to my health. Especially I thought it had a very good impact on my brain health. One thing to remember is that it's very important after a long fast to refeed in a smart way. See the 24 hours after you end your fast as a time to plant seeds with what you eat. start slow... maybe some Collegen peptides or bone broth. Wait a few hours. Drink a table spoon of EVOO, Avocado, Wild Blueberries, Eggs, unflavored greek yogurt. Walnuts, Wild caught Salmon, etc strewn in throughout the day... not all at once haha

What the **** is wrong with you people? Fasting? Absolute ****ing nonsense. The Germans put my mates relatives on a long involuntary fast in 40s and it didn't ****ing work out too well for them. Fasting... Idiots...
