Do we have an easy way to offer Giddey some money? Decent player, has been improving, still very young.

Obviously Chicago could match, but I don't see anyone else I'd want to take a shot on.

How much are you thinking? Do we really want a core 3 of giddey, walker, and Lauri for over a 100 million? Sounds terrible

Giddey would be interesting with this team. He is only 22 and from the stats; He does alot on the court, assists, rebounds, gets some steals, low number of turnovers. Also doesn't shoot it as much. Just an all around 2 way playmaker type. I think he would be great for this team. If all it took was to give up Collins and some 2nds in a sign and trade, I would pull the trigger.

Unattributed local article on Giddey's contract situation, seems the market is soft an the Bulls are willing to low ball, Giddey would have some stones to sign the qualifying offer, back himself and be unrestricted next year.

Seems he wants 30 per year, a core of Giddey, Bailey and Walker would be interesting but likely not enough.

If he's set at 5/150 that's probably a bit much for my tastes, talk him down to 5/125 or something like it and I'm feeling good like the article seems to think the Bulls should aim for.

But I wouldn't be upset at the mentioned Collins+2nds price in a SnT.

Giddey would be an all star at all the local young women’s ward activities and middle schools.

5/150 Is what he wants, you've gotta remember he grew up in Melbourne's in the lovely Yarraville (Our first house was in Yarraville when it was significantly less fashionable), he needs at least 3 million to buy a house in the neighbourhood he grew up in!

I think 5/150 is about break even on the kid compared to other contracts getting around, I'll also add, he's a winner and that matters.

If anything, I’m more bullish on keeping John Collins, who I think can be the kind of veteran leader this team needs to set the tone with guys like Cody, Key, Ace and Hendricks. :)
If anything, I’m bullish on keeping Lauri Markkanen and letting him grow into the “top dog” franchise player role surrounded by a bunch of young guys - instead of just getting a massive haul of draft assets and young players for him from a different team. . . :)
