What's new

I see Collier spending 2 years coming off the bench while trying to develop his jumper.

I hope he gets it..

But if we’re gonna start him and everyone else gets frustrated while he bricks shots after shots after shots, that’s not fair to the other players neither.

And none have a broken shot neither…
Eh, I feel like colliers might be. That would be the reason for him only having 3 wheels.
But the point is that all of our young guys have flaws at this time. (3 wheels)

Ideally he wouldn't brick shot after shot because he wouldn't be the guy taking the shots. He would set up his teammates. He is incredibly fast in transition and should be able to get into the paint at will due to his speed and strength. He should be decent defensively as well.
I hope that Hardy plays to his strengths and has him primarily doing the things he is good at.
If that happens then I doubt his teammates will get frustrated by getting to take lots of shots.

He got his shots off against Houston in a championship environment. That was far more emblematic of who he is that a Summer League game.
With all due respect, one of Houston's starters hasn't even gotten off of the bench for the Jazz yet this summer league (though I'm not sure why -- still look forward to seeing Roberts play a bit). Another was LJ Cryer, who's even shorter than Clayton.

Yeah but some flaws are easier fix than others.

Remember Michael Kidd Gilchrist? Or Mudiay? Or Fultz?

Those guys never fixed their shots to the detriment of their NBA careers…

Yeah but in today’s NBA everyone needs to be able to at least hit open 3s.

Looking at OKC, all of their guys can make 3s consistently.
