This would fit in the Epstein thread as well, since that’s what it’s obviously designed to distract from. Who better to nail than a black man, what better charge? 100% designed for the base. Another nonsensical conspiracy theory. Absurd to the core. 100% designed to outflank the anger generated by “there is no client list” and replacing it with something that Trump hopes will generate worse anger than Epstein. With the help of Tulsi Gabbard. So obvious, it will work for some. If the Republicans support this, we will really be living in an absurd alternate universe. I like the multiverse theory, but there’s no good reason why any of us should have to inhabit this one!

Turns out people like political humor, regardless of ideological slant…..what’s the chances Trump demands an end to “Gutfeld!”? The simple truth is: Donald Trump has the emotional development of a 5 year old, and he cries and stamps his feet. A lot!
Donald Trump is a big baby.

Wow, so much BS. The new Big Lie! No charges will ever be filed.

They are so desperate to take attention away from the Epstein files. Crazy to think that Trump's predilections for diddling children back when he and Epstein were buddies might be the thing that takes him down, among all the other illegal and unconstitutional ******** he's literally pulling off in front of our faces. And he needs to go down for it. Would be unbelievably satisfying to see him serving a prison sentence for the rest of his life. Of course once the case gets to the supreme Court there is a very good chance his bought and paid for cronies will find a way to overturn any conviction. But man would that be great to see him in an orange jumpsuit. It's just his color!

Fla. – Local veterans are speaking out against the deployment of 200 Marines to assist U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Florida. Over 200 veterans have signed an open letter opposing the use of the military in this capacity.

Earlier this month, U.S. Northern Command announced the deployment of 200 Marines to Florida to support ICE in its interior immigration enforcement mission. This follows the deployment of thousands of National Guard troops and hundreds of active-duty Marines to Los Angeles amid recent immigration crackdowns.

The decision to use active military forces in domestic immigration operations has sparked concern among some local veterans who see this as a dangerous misuse of the military on U.S. soil.

Alexander McCoy, a Marine Corps veteran who served six years as an embassy guard in the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe, expressed his unease about the deployment.

“The U.S. military is for fighting America’s enemies and if we’re using them here in the United States, the implication is that Americans are enemies,” McCoy said.

In response, McCoy drafted an open letter denouncing the use of Marines in ICE operations, stating, “We swore an oath to the Constitution, and the law makes clear what the U.S. military is for and not for. Using Marines to participate in ICE operations on U.S. soil dishonors that oath.”

He invited other veterans to sign the letter in solidarity.

Since issuing the letter, over 200 veterans have added their names in support. Among them is Doug Jackson, a fellow Marine and infantryman who deployed to Iraq in 2007.

“Marines train for war or they’re going to war, so this is not a mission that Marines want or are trained for,” Jackson said.

He emphasized that opposition is not limited to “hysterical, far-left people on the news,” but represents a genuine concern among service members.

McCoy says it is his responsibility as a veteran to speak up on behalf of active-duty troops who are restricted from expressing political views.

“It’s our job to be their voice and to express what we would have felt when we were serving if we got put in this terrible situation,” he said.

He further highlighted the stark differences between ICE officers and military personnel, saying, “If an ICE officer decides they no longer want to be part of this, they can quit their job. A service member in the military, if they get deployed to something like this, well, you got no choice and that’s really, really dangerous.”

The open letter is available at FlVetsLetter.com.

I was thinking about starting a thread where one could tell stories about conversations they have had with trumpers that illustrate their stupidity but ultimately decided against it so im just going to post one example I had this morning in here.

A dude online said that the last election is proof that over half the country supports trump. Now just right off the bat that is a stupid statement for many reasons. Reason 1. Not every american voted in the election. Reason 2. Some people who voted for trump dont actually support him they just think he sucks less than harris or they just thought he would benefit them financially or whatever. (I voted for biden and hillary but supported neither for example) Reason 3. Trumps approval rating is at a historical low. Just because someone supported him last november doesn't mean they support him today.
But I decided to use the most objective and undeniable reason that his statement was stupid and incorrect. Trump got 49.8% of the total votes. 49.8% is obviously less than half. So I pointed out that fact. His response? "You dont understand percentages"
At that point I had to give up. Thats one of the problems with stupidity. Often times it simply cant be defeated. Can lead a horse to water but cant make it drink.
In a case like that I simply have to use the block feature. Which is an amazing feature for that app/website. Makes it so that person and myself basically no exist to the other person. They can see nothing I ever post and I can see nothing they ever post. Even erases past discussions between the two of us.
I wish the jazzfanz ignore feature worked like that.

And yet millions of people will argue that Trump was right and that he owned Powell. Just like the idiotic trumper who argued with
Fish, they’ll argue with you that Daddy Trump is never wrong and that Powell needs to go.
At any other time in history, a Federal Reserve Chair who brought inflation down from 9% to 2% and kept unemployment steady at 4% and avoided a widely predicted recession, while the stock market soared to unprecedented heights, would be hailed a hero.

This is a really good point. In any other time, Powell would be hailed as the kick *** Fed Chair that he is. He’s done a remarkable job navigating our country through Covid. Inflation was due to the world economy restarting. He’s done a great job mitigating what easily could’ve been a huge economic meltdown. Sadly, he’s seen as disloyal to Daddy and will likely be fired soon.
