What's new

Game Thread Oct 10, 2025 06:00PM MT: Utah Jazz @ San Antonio Spurs (Preseason)

Added to Calendar: 10-10-25

I figured Svi starting was because of all the missing players, and giving a little vet presence at the start along with Nurkic.

Not sure Tonje "should" see time. In SL his play was on the "few positive flashes" level, which is about 3 levels below of what you expect from NBA rotational player.

I'm looking forward to seeing our young guys against the Spurs young guys--Harper, Castle and Bryant. Also, it looks like Filipowski may have participated in shoot-around today. See if he plays today.

Blew my mind when they guaranteed Svi. Not in a good way. i guess he's kind of athletic, but when he plays his 'feel' is completely different than all the other players on the floor. Kind of janky. I mean, he might eventually learn better and become something, but at 28 he's a little (a lot) old for learning how to play. oh well, i guess if ol' Slow Mo Joe can get better late in life so can Svi.

I checked the spurs box score from last game and didn't see castle or harper iirc.

Double checked. Harper, Castle, Olynyk, Fox, and sochan all missed the game vs heat.
