Utah just isn’t disciplined or skilled enough defensively to keep up with good teams over the course of an entire game.

Also, I think we’ll see a lot of this on the road especially- once a few things in a row go wrong, the wheels just fall off.

The Collier/Cody minutes wrecked us when the Lakers were able to slow the game down.

collier's worst game since he's been back. and he didn't necessarily play poorly, but he just really struggled to make plays. just kinda did nothing in his time out there. a big meh.

I guess zero rim protection does it, when they have two top 5 passers in the league. Jazz chance was to keep taking their shots but with more active defense by all it became tougher.

That said, refs give such soft *** calls to lakers favor. No news there.

Btw, in the end of third when Lakers was starting their run, did anyone else feel it took forever they took their free throw(s) each time. Like how it takes a minute you get the and'1 up? I feel it really threw out Jazz off the rhythm. In broader sense ,we really need the league change ft's to one FT. Would make games much nicer to watch.

I watched the Stars game tonight vs the Lakers GLeague team and the Lakers had two players better than Cody and Tay Henny imho.

Lakers sagged off him and dared him to shoot- and he wouldn't. That is going to be an ongoing problem for him, especially when Lauri isn't on the floor helping w/spacing.

League doesn't care about end of bench guys, so it won't matter to them. I'm guessing he wasn't 100% but could've played if needed.

I’m not even complaining about this specific game because the Jazz have been FT merchants all year as well. But the league’s decision to shift officiating to more FT’s is just insanity. Nobody wanted this.

I don’t even think defenders can “stop fouling” because an offensive player just needs to run into them. It’s hard to get completely out of the way, but I guess that’s what they want defense to be. Get out of the way as quick as you can or it’s 2 FTs.
