He's looked decent playing with the big boys as well. If we're really trying to win he should be up to set the tone on defense when things are going south. I seriously feel they think he'll hurt the tank. Giving up 130 points a game is what's allowing us to lose.

Then just give him the ball more on offense to offset his defense. If he's good then at that too, then wow that's an amazing find.

If that’s true. . . then eff the Thunder. Those guys were terrible about tanking during their lean years. Jazz losing to the Clippers today screws the Thunder twice as hard. I’m all for it. Looking forward to Cody Williams playing 30+ minutes today.

That's now what Lowe said. Lowe said if the Jazz do start doing stuff OKC would speak out against it, but he didn't say they call every day

That sounds more realistic. I still say eff the Thunder. Jazz don’t have to unethically tank to be just bad enough to fall into the bottom 5 this year. Reduce Lauri’s minutes to a more reasonable number (mostly to reduce his wear and tear this year), trade some of the vets for peanuts (or as part of a deadline deal to get another key player for next year) and play big minutes to all the young guys should be enough to get it done.

Jazz should complain to the league office when OKC sits their players against the Jazz. Actually, they should just complain whenever anyone sits their players vs the Jazz.

I don't think OKC's hall Karen behavior has any real impact. Especially because they are some of the most egregious tankers in the entire league.

It's good having a clear signal from the front office that they're aware of the job.

Still might be looking for how the others will respond (or not) to a game without both of Key and Lauri. I guess it's the first of the season.
