We own both of their swap rights which means that we first of all need to own a pick to swap with them and secondly that their pick needs to be worse than ours.

It's extremely unlikely that swaps come in to play this year.

I mean if those are the only two teams to jump us that isnt the nightmare scenario. We would have #8 and the ability to swap for the best pick.

But neither team is close to being in danger of missing the PO's, so that isnt a thing to even really think about at this point.

Yes, that's been brought up before and would be the worst case scenario.

I prefer to think about the other super long shot, but best case scenario, where we make the play in and then win the lottery.
