This poll is hard, luckily I think we can keep more, especially next year, but we will have to prioritize who we give minutes to next year.

As of this moment I think WCJ is the most likely to be a positive rotation player in the future. I think he's been pretty good already despite not being great off the dribble which I think will definitely come around.

I also went with Taylor even though right now he's probably our worst young player. I just think he needs to get some mobility back and continue to get game reps and watch film and he can be the type of defender this team really needs.

FWIW, these picks are by the slimmest of margins and I don't think anyone has separated themselves from the rest. If Cody's 3 starts falling in a believable way he would jump to the top for me. I also like the idea of Brice as a bench scorer, so he's not far behind.
Ya I picked Bryce and Taylor with absolutely zero confidence.
This is one of the hardest choices ever.

I know I ain't picking collier. And I kind of ruled out flip. After that it's a bunch of coin tosses for me.

Some guy is winning this ting by a landslide... I guess unexpectedly we discovered who's our young most charismatic one.
Or he's just the rookie. Rookies always have a shine where we still overlook their defects assuming they been overcome them.

For instance, for Walt's size and athleticism we really need him to be an elite shooter. If he comes into next season looking the same then this poll will look very different this time next year

Cody and Brice, both have a lot of room to improve and elevate their tier as players. For Cody, it's physical development, becoming more aggressive and unlocking more versatility. For Brice, it's about learning to play without the ball and anticipating on defense.

Walt's fine, but he's likely a career backup point guard. There's nothing wrong with that. The Spurs drafted Tre Jones, and he played with them for 5 seasons and has had a fine career.

I don’t really have a comment on TH’s physical condition other than that he looks very unathletic, but it’s to be expected? No thoughts on how much he can actually regain, but that’s a huge part of the equation for him.

I think he’s up his skill level, but the mental side of the game has no progressed. He plays like he’s on 200 ping. But there’s still hope for him because he has some attributes in the right areas. Still a decent shooter and is able to get some rebounds etc just from his size.

Needs to play harder. His motor runs hot and cold, lately it’s been mostly cold.

The motor is the most worrying thing about him for me at this time. Next year is my judgement year for Taylor. These types of injuries really suck for young guys that you are trying to evaluate.

I guess you could give him somewhat of a pass for the mental side of things….idk. It was never good to begin with so that’s my biggest worry.

But best thing about TH has always been how easy it is to see him fit into a useful role. So it won’t take a miracle for him to get to that level.
