Funny you interpret it that way. I voted "somewhat disapprove" because I feel like they aren't tanking hard enough. I would wager a decent chunk of the "disapproves" feel that way. That is a problem with a poll like this, it is left widely open to interpretation. A better question would have centered around specific aspects of the front office and what they are trying to do, to make it more objective. A pure "approval rating" is not a clean poll question. I am sure there is a proportion of voters who would say they disapprove of Trump because he isn't being ENOUGH of a nazi.

Note also that to even make that interpretation at all, you are assuming the front office is purposely tanking, so an "approve", by your assumption, means they are trying to tank on purpose. Interesting.

This poll question is pretty general, and with that, as a pro-tanker this year, I obviously agree with the direction the Jazz have taken. Last season, their goal was to pick as high as possible in the draft, and this season, their goal is the same. We can debate how well they have executed that plan so far this season, but that doesn’t seem to be what the poll was asking.
