What's new

What is the point of playing Anderson over Hendricks? Give the kid some run so we can see if he can do anything. Anderson has zero future here.
Maybe they’re keeping him warm/“showcasing” him (even if just for his sake)?

I really hope the final stage of this season is going to be cutting all the non-Lauri vets loose one way or another, playing Hendricks a bunch, and churning through G-League types to see if we can find anyone worth keeping.

Because Hendricks isnt a NBA player.
I'd like to know that for sure so might as well give him minutes when they don't matter. It's not like we want to win basketball games right now. If he's not an NBA player then let him be a tank commander. Personally I think he will be an NBA player but has to get back down to around 210 pounds to get that explosiveness back. Just last month we didn't think Cody was an NBA player and now he is starting to flash some potential. I think the same thing can happen with Taylor if you force feed him minutes. At the very least let him get heavy minutes in the gleague if you aren't going to play him. At this point he just needs to play basketball after missing all of last year.

Nurk shouldn't be traded unless they can get a first rounder for him. They can just sit him to tank. He'd be super valuable veteran to keep aiding the internal growth, and *** a backup for Kessler.

Can we deal in reality please? No rental yields a 1st rounder (unless they’re an ~all-star and the acquiring team requires their Bird Rights to keep them; even still I can’t immediately recall the last time that happened).

If they “can just sit him” why aren’t they?

Lastly, he is a free agent and won’t cost much; there is nothing that would prevent them from re-signing him if he were traded and nothing that necessarily keeps him here next year if he stays the rest of the year either.

I am aware that you don’t like tanking but that’s is what’s happening and what should be happening. This is going to go down to the wire and be very competitive. Keeping Nurk means he will play, Nurk playing will probably be the difference in a couple of games.

Just watched the replay and wanted to comment on Keyonte's athleticism, I think it's underrated. He made a play with about 2 minutes left in the first quarter where he was running full speed on a fast break, he gets the ball thrown to him slightly behind him and in one motion reaches back to grab the ball, gathers it, and leaps for a dunk.

I've watched the majority of Kas's NBA minutes this year and he's been mostly good, looks like he belongs. Miami has only had him play a very minimal role for their team, but he plays very hard and usually makes the right play.

He is very very athletic.
He has always had all the skills, athleticism, confidence etc. Just needed some time and maturity.

I do too but he is also very dangerous lol

Flip at the 5 is one of our commanders. He will have done this franchise a great service if we can play him many minutes and he continues to provide a catastrophic flaw to the defense (which is the spear point to our tanking effectiveness).
