Yep, he could have been shot in a “woops!” fashion, because someone yelled “he’s got a gun, gun, gun”. But, “woops” is simply no excuse. What’s the punishment?: “We know you didn’t realize one of your own removed his gun in front of your very eyes, and if you had known, you might not have unleashed all those shots. So, it’s OK. Just try to be more careful next time!” Say what!RED: Pretti is involved in an incident, in which he kicks the rear of an ICE vehicle, and breaks a taillight.
Incident? No breaking federal law. So this proves that he was there as part of a network who’s entire purpose is to stop ICE from arresting child rapist, drug dealers, wife beaters and gang members. What you conveniently leave out is his BEGGING to be assaulted. Why did you leave that out purposefully? That’s proof that is indeed violent looking for trouble.
RED: Sometime later, a week or so, he’s involved in another incident. All half dozen videos of that later incident show that he did not brandish his legal conceal carry, did not attempt to attack agents, tried to prevent getting pepper sprayed, tried to protect a woman whom Border Patrol had violently pushed to the ground, trying to protect her from pepper spray and trying to lift her off the ground.
He literally interfered with the lady that was being arrested. No matter how you want to spin it, he did not belong there. If I see a cop arresting someone for something I don’t agree with that does not give me the right to interfere. Especially while having a weapon which is highly illegal. Even if you are right, he has no right to impede, none. Right?
RED: Again, we see an agent remove Pretti’s gun, and trot away with it. Only then is Pretti shot. That’s an execution, whether you like it or not.
We see him remove the gun as someone shouts “GUN GUN” all while he reaches for his empty holster The Sig which is notorious for misfiring appears to have misfired and started the entire thing. It was Pretti who put himself there by not only resisting but by interfering which he had no right to do. You can say whatever you like but it’s clear he had no fear on the agents as he attacked them a week prior.
RED: But wait! You actually relate it to the earlier incident. In order to justify him dying. So, you must be suggesting the following:
100%... It’s clear that his entire reason for being there was to interfere. We know this based off Signal chats that put him there both times. He didn’t deserve to die, but he is the reason he is dead. He broke the law multiple times, he interfered, he resisted all while armed.
Red: The Border Patrol agents recognized him from that previous incident. Like yourself, they decided if anything truly bad were to happen to him now, it would be his fault, and his fault alone. So, two of the agents shot him 9 times. He was unarmed. But he yelled at them a week or two earlier. “He should not have done so. We can kill him.” You’re suggesting, that IF that’s what they were thinking as they threw him to the ground, if they were conflating the two incidents, just as YOU are, that, to YOU, it’s OK that he was killed, because we certainly cannot blame the agents who pumped 9 bullets, some from several feet away, into an unarmed man.
They didn’t know he was armed still. An officer on the camera literally yells gun, because there is one and that’s when he was shot. Again this would’ve never happened if Pretti wasn’t there to cause trouble. You all think it’s a coincidence he was there but it’s not. He was there for the sole reason BOTH times to interfere.
I answered all your questions so I think it would be equally respectful to answer mine.
1. Why did you purposely leave our him BEGGING to be assaulted? I'm guessing because you would be agreeing that he wanted the trouble and even initiated it by attacking a vehicle and breaking a taillight.
2. Why aren't people getting shot in other states? Minnesota isn't even in the top 20 with deportations. Why is violence only happening there?
Give us a break. They pumped 9 bullets into an unarmed man. Didn’t know he was unarmed is no excuse. Begging to be shot a week or two earlier does not mean the agents had permission to grant his wish, albeit a tad late!!! Nope, that’s no kind of justice. It’s a state sponsored public execution, and your objections are pathetic. You probably should be ashamed of yourself for desperately trying to find ways to excuse committing a public execution.
Some of the questions you ask, in particular the second question, demonstrate that you have not actually kept up with what is happening in your own country, at least where mass deportation is concerned, like the 3000 agent surge into Minneapolis. I believe you are largely in the dark. Many of us here, esp. if we’re demonstrably anti-Trump have been keeping up with the mass deportation policy closely. And I am not going to do such fundamental, basic research for you. If you don’t know the circumstances behind the Minneapolis surge, do your research.
As for your first question, my guess he was begging to be shot, in that first video, out of anger. Just as anger caused him to kick their car a couple of times. It’s anger, and many were very angry at what happened to Renee Good. But you know what: I’m guessing he was not truly suicidal, and really did not want to be shot. More along the lines of in anger “big brave men, killing Renee Good, shoot me why don’t you, you cowards”. At this point, I certainly wouldn’t, but it’s very easy to understand exactly such a reaction, by someone who cared about his neighbors, by someone who cared about his city, by someone who CARED. Get it?
I find your reasoning to be sick. Stew in your hatred.
