Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

I think my biggest issue here is that JJJ has this reputation as the unicorn of all unicorns but he is actually quite overrated and wildly overpaid. Paying ultra premium prices for shooting+shot blocking when you could get 65% of those benefits for 5% of the cost if you went and got Jalen Smith is not the best.
Jalen Smith is not a good defender in the slightest.

I am curious where you guys think this trade ranks with other trades for the Jazz in the past 35 years. I am looking more at incoming players and not outgoing. DM and Rudy outgoing were obviously big trades.

Just found out. Wow.

4 years of Lauri and JJJ tied up but almost 100M between them. Keyonte and Kessler contract looming large. If they wanna add pieces they need to do it NOW, since 2 years from now we will be in absolute apron hell.
This year's pick even more important now. Great players on rookie deals are the holy grail

So if the starting lineup is what i think it will be as tony Jones reported the Jazz plan to keep Kessler, Keyonte is gonna handle the ball a lot. like a lot

boy from a passing/ball moving standpoint,

Keyonte 6.6 assists per
Ace 1.6 assists per
Laurie 2.2 assists per
JJJ 1.9 assists per
Kessler 3 assists per

so not just ball handling but moving the ball around. Hardy's offense is like anti-iso too

but outside what i think the starting lineup will be and if you keep Nurk, he and Collier will help but in crunch time minutes I am trying to figure that out
