Harris for Hinrich?

Another trade that works. Jazz get a much needed defender at the pg position. Atlanta gets a pg that's fits their system better than be fits in Utah

Hawks have no incentive to do this trade. Hinrich is a back up point guard. Teague is actually playing pretty well this year. Hinrich is expiring.

Devin Harris has an extra year on his contract. Hawks have no interest.

A 3 team trade is the only option I see. And even this was hard to do. Finding a team that needs or even would want Harris is hard to come by. Most teams have the point guard spot filled up.

I don't think they want to pay Harris 9 million to be a back up point next year. Hinrich comes off the books this year.

Need a 3rd team. If they badly want to get rid of Williams than they can find a better deal.

A better deal how? They get off nearly $20 million worth of salary for taking half that amount one more year? The Hawks are not a financially strong team and they would love to save any sort of money that they can.

If they are going to do that than they would at least get something in value in return. And the Jazz won't do that trade unless they can include CJ Miles or Howard or Bell in that deal.

Harris is the same as Hinrich but longer contract. Which hurts them. And they trade away Williams. He isn't way way over paid and he isn't playing horribly. He isn't getting the playing time. He is shooting over 40% from the 3 this year and he is only 25.

Plenty of teams would take Williams off there hands for an expiring contract. Not a 2 year contract. Makes no sense for the Hawks in comparison to how the rest of the NBA would value Williams. They could get more or less in contracts.

Here is one trade where they get an expiring contract in Kaman. And they need a Center position. Hornets know that there season has no chance but they get starting SF also to play and Jack has been injured so they could use the PG play also.

Look at need for the Hawks. I would understand if Williams was being paid like 12 million a year but its only 7. Not very much. Its a little above the average salary. Teams would take chance on him for an expiring is all I am saying.

If we want Hinrich that bad we need to include a 3rd team.

?? Why would Sac Town wants Harris?

They have Tyreke... and Isiah... AND Fredette fighting for the starting PG spots..
