I like the idea, Freak, but that gun looks like it might be the Richard Simmons model. I was thinking along the lines of something that didn't scream, "I'm gay!".

I'm too lazy to really try and read about Utah's open carry laws. In a nutshell, I can legally carry a gun on my hip or in a shoulder holster without a concealed weapons permit, right? If that's the case, do I get in trouble if my shirt hangs out over my waist and all of a sudden the gun is concealed?
Any gun-nuts here?
I'd also like some suggestions for decent hand guns. I'm not going to break the bank, but I'd love to waste some tax return dollars on a gun and shoulder holster. Perhaps it's the teeny-peeny syndrome, but I really like the idea all of a sudden.

me myself own a smith and wessons magnum 357 revolver. now thats a reliable gun. but dont let your girlfriend shoot it. whent to the range with her and she shot it but got freaked and dropped it. she didnt drop the shotgun and the glock 9's though
although planing on getting a glock 357 when I get back home(more than 6 bullets).
don't know the laws from back there cant help you on that, over here they are illegal so i left mine at home in south america.
Rest easy Trout, I shoot my fathers Judge quite alot. Let me assure that the larger gun in that picture is a hand cannon. I would not even try to carry a pistol that was any larger. You pull that on someone and your sexual prefrence will not be questioned. I'd prefer black though but that is a sweet gun. Plus it is just damn fun to shoot.

The bigger the gun the deeper you have to hide it. Just saying.
Here is a mans gun:

When you say you want a Glock that shoots 357 you're talking about .357 SIG, right? not .357 mag? I've heard .357 SIG often has feeding problems because of it's bottleneck shape.
Have you considered getting an alarm system and/or a dog?
alarm system give me a break, are the most unrealiable stuff ever
dogs? really it takes months to train the dog to not eat steaks from strangers. people could just thorw a steak laced with whatever poison over your fence. would your dog resist?
