Coaching is a separate issue. I disagree about the youth problem. We need to build a future team through our current youth, draft picks, and trading a couple of those young assets for a key missing piece ... once we figure out exactly what that is.
I know Jazz fanz don't want to hear 'be patient' but the position we're in right now, that's exactly the right advice. Unfortunately, Ty is not doing all he can (or even close) to get the youth prepared to make a run in the next couple years.
We are WAAAY too young. Draft is going to compound our problem. We need to trade some youth for players in the middle of their career , not the end. Balance wins more.
Plus, Ty cannot develop players, is a horrible coach.
If I hear Harpring say "mental mind" one more time this year I just might snap......
I disagree.
Draft Marshall. Keep Watson to teach him. Tinsley too if we can trade Harris.
Draft best available wing. I love MKG but our shooting is horrid so...
Trade Millsap or Jefferson. I can't say which because I go back and forth. Sign someone like Kurt Thomas who can be a strong 4th big to teach the young ones effort and nastiness.
Peeps like Watson, Bell and Thomas would be a strong core of vets to teach the young guys. They don't have to start to make an impression.
