What's new

Tyrone Corbin right name for the future?

Young guys are getting minutes. Corbin is giving Burks minutes.

Favors and Hayward have both improved defensively tremendously in my opinion.

Corbin addressed that making the offense more complex wouldn't be possible due to the lack of off-season and training camps.

Don't forget he is a rookie HC. Just like with rookie players, he has a lot of potential to improve. Give him at least until the end of next year.

Young guys do not take the enough time to improve. Burks is getting average of 12 min even the absence of Bell. Enough to improve? Nope for me.

The third pick Kanter is averaging 14 min. Enough to improve? Nope.

The third pick of last year Favors averaging 20 min. Enough min? Yea, may be if he was Okur, 32 years old veteran and if the team was so balanced and aim playoffs

Hayward: 28 min. Enough? Yea but the role of him especially on offense or even the position is mix

Yeah Corbin is rookie but trust me even Golden state coach is finding new patterns for the offense to his team and he is really bad but Corbin's tactics are easy to guess. How many times he got time out and we found some points? Back door passes to favs? P n R with not just guard and center but guard and forward? etc..

For the hope, u gotta see something, sorry but not as optimistic as you. It seems to me, young guys deserve more and more. We gotta make investment for the future but u gotta do it from now not later.

Thx man, same goes for you. As a basketball fan, iam trying to follow young guys both at the college and in Europe, so we sure can talk about draft prospects too. As i know, u follow Kentucky and college games well.

I'm the guy for local. You become the guy for the xeno scene .. cool?

HOLY COW!

What in the world is wrong with your brains?

I agree 100 percent that it would be nice to get minutes for these young guys. But this is not on Ty Corbin. What is he supposed to do? Set his high paid, borderline Allstar guys on the bench in favor of the kids?

This is on KEVIN O CONNOR

DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Seriously

Al and MIllsap are already playing short minutes for guys being starters. Ty is doing the best he can at putting the young guys on the court.

From a business stand point of making a trade of Al or Millsap or both, He needs to showcase them or else their value will drop.

Cmon Man!

What is so hard about this?

Corbin drives us insane, but what are we supposed to do? Tell him to log on to Jazzfanz and defend himself?! LOL Like someone else said, KOC has to come up some epic vet trade to save Corbin from himself. Then he'll be forced to play the rookies in certain positions.

I am just trying to follow young prospects especially from Europe. Turkey, Serbia, Crotia, Russia are priorities. College basketball comes after to follow draft prospects especially the players coming from Europe to NCAA.

I seriously bet that it is already bothering Millsap and Al that they don't get their full minutes. I'm sure Millsap would have had a better chance at making the Allstar team if he would have played more minutes

More minutes= more stats= better chance at being allstar

This isn't good for a team to be playing this game with the starters and backups.

That's why this is on Kevin O Connor to make a change soon

I think Corbin is a good coach put in a tuff spot.

How upset would you be if you were Al and Millsap, who have put in a lot of work and have proven themselves to some extent, to have some rookie be taking your minutes? All because they need their minutes to develop. It doesn't make for good chemistry I bet. I think that Ty is actually being quite generous with the minutes for the young guys. Considering his situation.

Again, I want the young guys in too, but this falls squarely on the shoulders of KOC. Not Ty Corbin. Get off his back.

This situation is badddd.

Jeremy Evans even has a bunch of potential and he can't even get in the game unless someone is hurt. We are wasting valuable needed reps for these young guys. It's a joke. And you all defend KOC like he is your girlfriend

Doubtful. Millsap is having an exact repeat of last season. He started off strong, then went into a slump. If anything, Millsap should play FEWER minutes and/or come off the bench. I love Millsap, but he's overmatched against most PF's. He could dominate subs as he did playing behind Boozer.

Besides, with the abundance of talented PF's in the WC, Millsap would need to average 25/12 to knock one of those guys out of the all-star game.
