You guys are delusional if you think we're gonna get a stud for Jefferson. There's a reason we want to trade him and it's not singularly because of our young depth up front.
I just wanted to call your mother a whore again.

both of these are better than the P*NIS chutney you've whipped up in this thread. I take that Bucks trade 8 days a week.

Who was it? The kid from UCLA and who else?
Can't say I am all that fond of that trade idea. Someone has to offer more, right?
Umm, no they don't. We're asking a team to take on an overpriced 1-yr rental. Unless a team is over the cap and has already used their amnesty clause, we won't get value back. I keep telling you guys...expiring contracts are pretty useless now, unless teams are willing to take back bad contracts. And KOC has been pretty adamant about not doing that.
There's a very slim chance Jefferson or Harris gets traded in the offseason. Maybe a team like Milwaukee takes Big AL. They need a center. But again, a team needing a big is going to look for a decent bargain and probably a player who is signed for a couple of years. It's more likely KOC is able to use the Memo TPE. Or we'd need to trade Jefferson or Harris PLUS a draft pick to get a starting wing from a team looking to dump salaries.
^
Indy would have no interest in this. They have Hibbert, West, Hansbrough, and they're not stupid enough to take on another big who will be a black hole when they have a good team thing going. Let alone for a solid wing and a 1st rounder.
And the Bucks trade? For what? So we can have another God awful 3 who can't shoot the 3? But hey, we'd only have him on the books for four more year. Or is it Udrih? We need a fourth mediocre to average point guard?

There are some scenarios, but most likely in a 3-team trade. Lakers, if they don't win the Deron sweepstakes, could take a look at Harris. Milwaukee has already been mentioned for Jefferson. KOC could also use the Memo TPE to facilitate a trade or FA signing by another team. Deron hits the market this summe and it looks like NJ, Dallas and LA are the preferred destinations. Orlando might also have an outside shot given that Dwight is staying there. I could see one of those teams try to pull us in and use our $10.9M and other assets to clear enough cap space to sign him. For example, Team A could send us a starting wing + other salaries up to $10.9M, then amnesty an additional player to get under the cap by $17M, or whatever Deron will be getting. We'll see.

Probably not. And I'm sure he feels betrayed by Dwight. Deron holds grudges. We know how pissed he was at Sloan for not playing him and then KOC for trading Brewer. I don't see himstaying in New Jersey/Brooklyn or going to Orlando. I think he'll either go home to Dallas or try to join the Lakers. I'm not sure what those teams need to do in terms of clearing cap space. The amnesty thing really hurts the Jazz as a team can just pick a player and cut him and have that salary cleared from the tax and cap calculations. The Nets are about to feel really silly by the looks of things. I don't see him wanting to stick around. Will the extra money they can offer him be enough?
I am not sure everyone considers him a black hole like we do. So maybe they are foolish enough to think he is the missing piece.

Like the Jazz did.
