So fire Corbin or not?

Stifle Tower

Punch Bowl Re-Filler
First he's a turd, then the Jazz get as high as 3rd in the conference and he's a great coach, maybe even a dark horse for COTY. Then the Jazz fall below .500 and there are renewed cries to fire him and bring in someone with more experience. Oh yeah, and he's absolutely terrible for playing the vets too much and not developing the rookies and soph's.

Now the Jazz have come up with a couple of big wins, are 2 games over .500 and knocking on the door of the playoffs. Suddenly, Ty is a genius again for not putting too much pressure on the rookies early on and bringing them along slowly, making them "earn" their minutes, just as his mentor, Jerry Sloan, would have done.

Are all team boards this bipolar?

Did you really need to start a new thread when there is already one that is basically the same thing?

Those who have stayed consistant on the subject are normal, centered, human beings. Unless you like Corbin.

Obviously, Ty is one of the best coaches in the league.

If we lose the next game though, we should definately fire him. Unless we win the game after that, cuz then he's awesome.

I still don't think he's right for the job.

I'm not going to give him credit for being forced to play the young guys due to injuries and deaths in the family.

Hey, he definitely went through a stretch where he wasn't making adjustments. Needed adjustments. Down the stretch tonight he ran the offense through Hayward and Millsap, with Al being the second big.

If Ty goes back to being a big more fluid/dynamic, then I'll be the first one to get back on the bandwagon. He was awful last month. Case closed.

Fire Ty!!

He couldn't even turn tonight's win into 2 wins!!??

Excuse me, I'm late for my prescription pick up........

Just like the players, the more experience Corbin gets the better coach he'll become. It's all about experience.

Well, sometimes I get a bit depressed posting in an old thread and then the thought of starting a new one really gets me excited.

please PM Cy before starting any new threads. He has a goal of getting 3 responses into the first 15 replies of every thread in 2012. It's a new year's resolution.
