Where do you think Enes Kanter would go in the 2012 draft?

The Jazz probably won't get another lotto pick as high as #3 like they did the last couple of years. That being the case, do you think the Jazz got as good a player in Enes Kanter last year as they could get in this upcoming draft? I know the college season isn't completely over, but where would you place Kanter as a prospect in the 2012 draft? (poll coming)

2 Robinson
3 Drummond
4 Kidd-Gilchrist
5 Kanter
6 Sullinger
7 Beal
8 Barnes
9 PJ3

Nah, are we still talking about Kanter without college experience? If so, I think he falls in the draft a little bit simply because he would've been away from competitive basketball for longer.

Go by what people knew last year rather than thinking he's been away from playing for yet another year.

I was just messing, it hard to say but he's probably the third best big in the draft.

Imagine if he was playing on this Kentucky team right now.........
 
The way Drummond has played this year, I think there'd be some debate about Kanter vs. Drummond. There's no doubt that Drummond is talented though.
 
There weren't any really great big men in last years draft (besides Jonas) other than Kanter. Kanter would have to go up against a lot of proven college dudes.

Drummond (not proven, but there still would be more known about him than Kanter)
Robinson
Sullinger

And that is just big men. MKG, Barnes, and Beal could all have gone before him too. I would say somewhere in the 5-8 range.

I hate players like Drummond. A once-in-a-decade size/skillset with no heart .. what do you do?

A lot of teams are scared of Sullie's lack of size AND athleticism. I think he'll be okay, but those that get paid and actually know what they're doing are calling him a big risk.

He is a whole inch shorter than Kanter.

Wasn't saying he would necessarily get drafted ahead of Kanter, but teams would definitely think about it. I still think Sullinger compares favorably to Kevin Love.

Just some fun facts; Sullinger is 6'9. Sullinger averages 9.1 rbs (less in the tourney) with no one else for OSU averaging at least 6 per game. To put that in perspective, UK's Davis averages 10+ per game, even though he competes with 2 of his own teammates with 7+ per game. Sullie, I like, but he doesn't equal Love ...
 
I think the draft order would be like the OP had it. In other words i think kanter would go 5th.

UK also plays at a faster pace and has a better defense (more rebounding opportunities). He is listed as 6'10 in shoes according to DraftExpress measurements.
