Assuming that burks, favors, kanter, and hayward get major minutes starting next year right up until the end of thier rookie contracts (millsap or jefferson traded), Where do you think they will be statistically, and how much do you think thier next contracts will pay them per year?

Hayward: I think he will get about 5-6 million per year and average about 12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and come off the bench.

Kanter: Hardest to predict i think.... I will say he will get about 7 million per year and average around 12 pts and 12 rebounds as the 1st big off the bench. (Again this thread assumes that one of big al or millsap gets traded in the offseason)

Favors: I think he will be our best all around player, and most expensive.... around 12 million per year averaging 18-20 pts, 11-13 rebounds and 2 or 3 blocks per game.

Burks: I think he will be our best scorer and go to guy.... 9 million per year averaging 20-24 pts per game.

(I realize these numbers probably seem high for burks and favors especially, but i am bias as burks is my favorite player on the team followed by favors, and i think they are both going to be special.)

Hayward 14, 5, 5
Burks 16, 3, 3
Kanter 16, 13
Favors 18, 10

Hayward 15 pts, 5 rebs, 5 ast, 2 steals, 1 blk
Burks 22 pts, 4 rebs, 4 ast, 1 steal
Kanter 15 pts, 12 rebs, 1 blk
Favors 20 pts , 10 rebs, 2 blks

Hayward 15 pts, 5 rebs, 5 ast, 2 steals, 1 blk
Burks 22 pts, 4 rebs, 4 ast, 1 steal
Kanter 15 pts, 12 rebs, 1 blk
Favors 20 pts , 10 rebs, 2 blks

If our 4 dudes could combine for 72 pts, 31 Rebs I would **** pants.

I made these predictions under the assumption that they are all starters (I think Utah will ultimately lose 1-2 of them)

Hayward's a starter based on his defense and height alone. He's got a good advantage on most of the league right there.
I hope he doesn't come off the bench in the future unless we draft a stud.
The problem with him as a starter right now is that he doesn't feel involved. I don't blame him, 70+% of our plays when Big Al is in are post ups to Al.

Agreed. Also right now, Hayward's much more comfortable and effective playing in an up-tempo game. He thrives with the second unit because that's the group that forces turnovers and Gordan can leak out (he's similar to Wes Matthews in that he changes ends very quickly) and get transition opportunities.
With the first unit he's restricted to more of a halfcourt game, and with a streaky jumper he still hasn't found his niche with that group. He's also got that young-player hot-or-cold issue - Toni Kukoc had it when he first joined the Bulls - if he hit his first shot you knew he was going to be a handful, if he started slowly he would lose his aggressiveness and drift a bit. We've seen what Gordan can do when he's confident and aggressive, he just needs to learn how to do get himself more involved as a starter so he can do it consistently.

Yep...

Here's a bold prediction:
Hayward is going to be a 50% FG, 40% 3Pt, and 90% FT player.

To me, 47/37/87 would be absolutely spectacular. Sky is the limit for this kid though; he has great form on free throws, has a history of being deadly from three, and he shoots at a decent percentage. He might have a season where he gets damn close to 50/40/90, who knows.

He's shooting that well in March . He shot the 3 incredibly well the last half of last year. It's in spurts right now, but I think it can happen.
