What is Enes Kanter's trade value?

hello everyone,,population of thailand is 75 million and Enes Kanter will be traded this summer

We'll have to see him in Summer League. If he can play well there and have a good training camp, then I expect no one will want to trade him.

I agree that at this point his trade value is lower now because he is a known quantity and the Jazz are not offering him in any manner to be "showcased." That is because they have no desire to do so. Yes, he probably has been told to not shoot outside jumpers. And rightfully so. (Well, he took basically zero in the beginning and now he takes some. Which i'm guessing is what he's been told.) This is because he has a lot of aspects to be working on and at his stage, he's not going to be working on everything. Also, he's simply not good enough to be the guy shooting the ball - at this point.

He's not looking worth the 3rd round pick the Jazz used on him, at this stage in his development. I think that'll change.

I think it'd be unconscionable to trade him unless it becomes painfully obvious in 2-3 years that he is not going to be the player the team expected him to be.

I agree, but I am just preparing myself for the Jazz to do something crazy like trade him and keep Al.

I still totally believe in Kanter, and I understand why people would disagree with me. I have actually been blown away most of this year in how good he's been.

Context.

And when he got those minutes in Al's absence recently... you can't really deny that can you?

Austin Rivers is too small to be anything other than a solid role player.

Were you born in the night, last night? Just fall off the turnip wagon? Your first rodeo? Haven't been around the block more than once? Rivers is 6"4". Fair enough if you want to argue him as a Monta type undersized 2 though.

In fairness to Kanter I don't think he has been given much of a chance to get his offensive game going. I just think the Jazz dont want to wait forever for Kanter to come a long.

To me I think he might be able to get us a pick between 6-12 or a solid starter. But I don't think much more than that. He still has a lot of question marks combined with the good things he shows (rebounding, hustle, ect.)

Kanter has gaps and he's SLOW. Watch Bogut get back on D and you'll fall in love with Jefferson's speed. Kanter reminds me of Bogut in transition. He's never going to get those 6 points per that Malone did by running the floor. Favors has full potential here though.

I would be very tempted at six but probably not 8 or later.

What did anyone really expect from an unknown with no playing time? He was a gamble, although a well calculated one that the entire industry had crunched down to the 3 spot. Now they're not so sure and neither am I.

By his D and rebounding or what? I don't know how you can argue against the Jazz losing at least 10 more games with him in and Jefferson gone/injured/benched. That's something I really wanted mind you, but I don't see how Enes would look a top 10 rookie given minutes at this point aside from a shaky class altogether. I think the more Kanter plays the more his weaknesses will be exposed. He's a project with a whole lot of upside, but that isn't coming through for me yet.

jazz doesnt have anything better to do now but to wait. We arent gonna be a contender anytime soon, why is the hurry ?
It was obvious we won't make a significant achievement this year anyway, but we got carried away after grabbing a few fancy mins. We should just pray to get as good trade pick as possible this year, and then move Big Al in the summer, give all the responsiblity to young guys including hayward, enes, burks, favors and this years draft pick and then move on.
it is stupid to look for ways to move one of your future franchise players
