If your rookie-contract player (and actual rookie) can't crack Simmons' Trade Value column, then you shouldn't be shopping.
He's not looking worth the 3rd round pick the Jazz used on him, at this stage in his development. I think that'll change.
I think it'd be unconscionable to trade him unless it becomes painfully obvious in 2-3 years that he is not going to be the player the team expected him to be.
Austin Rivers is too small to be anything other than a solid role player.
In fairness to Kanter I don't think he has been given much of a chance to get his offensive game going. I just think the Jazz dont want to wait forever for Kanter to come a long.
To me I think he might be able to get us a pick between 6-12 or a solid starter. But I don't think much more than that. He still has a lot of question marks combined with the good things he shows (rebounding, hustle, ect.)

I still totally believe in Kanter, and I understand why people would disagree with me. I have actually been blown away most of this year in how good he's been...
And when he got those minutes in Al's absence recently... you can't really deny that can you?
