What's new

Next trap game; let's FOCUS on ORLANDO game!

For those of us that would want to watch it that is just plane selfish. Or did you really mean you want a draft pick instead of the Jazz losing to the Spurs (and watching was really irrelevant).

So I don't give a damn about anyone else. Please squirt some warm man milk into my mouth.

Frank the Tank has wanted the Jazz to tank since the NBA announced it was ending the lockout this year. ^ this post isn't anything new.

Hey bone choker, I wasn't even on here when the logout ended. I wanted them to tank after it became obvious this team is on the go nowhere train.

I have been a staunch supporter of this team making the playoffs. Don't rain on my parade negative Nancy's.

Jazz are gonna crush SA

Screw rain. I'd rather piss on your parade with a thousand horses.

A thousand pigs too hoping TBS is there with you.

This has been a fun year to be a Jazz fan. Everyone works hard and plays the right way. I'm sure Jerry would have loved to coach this squad. It will be a HUGE accomplishment to make the playoffs.

Didn't you notice Spurs in first place? If it's Jazz vs. Santa Tonio then I'm not watching a single game of steamroller vs ant hill.

Please lose this game. Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

It is still very possible for the Jazz to get the 7th seed. We just need to win our last three home games and hope that Denver splits their final four games. The latter scenario is actually very likely, because the Nuggets still have to play @ Phoenix and @ Oklahoma City. I project them to lose both of those games. Denver's other two games are against the Magic @ home and @ Minnesota, which are likely wins. If We and Denver finish the season tied in the standings we get the higher playoff seed because we own the tie-breaker over them via winning the season series. However, it is unlikely that we will catch Dallas because they would have to lose all three of their remaining games coupled with us winning all three.

I'm concerned about the articles that portray the Jazz being in the "drivers seat" regarding the playoff picture. Without sounding too negative, this is how I see it.

1) We aren't catching Dallas. I can't see them losing all three.
2) We can catch Denver, but only if we win all three.
3) We must beat Phoenix. I mean we need to win the others too, but if we can't pull out that game. It's likely that Denver and Phoenix will go to the playoffs and the Jazz and Houston will stay home.
4) The Jazz haven't looked like a team that would win 3 in a row in a while.

They absolutely can do it, but there should be no sense of entitlement in their minds. They really need to play tough for 4 quarters in all three games because if they drop one, they will likely be staying home.

Exactly, 'mrob'. Win (3) and we're in, quite possibly #7 if Nuggets split. The thing we don't know is will OKC rest some players when they play with the Nuggets...

Thats the typical characteristic of the SLC media, the morons who jinx the team in advance. Another annoying thing they do is sing hosannas for a player who has suddenly had 2 or 3 good games in a row. Shine the spotlight on the player and make him immediately feel complacent.

I dont care about whether it is 7th or 8th seed anymore. Just make the playoffs. And who knows maybe with some luck OKC even gets the top seed if Spurs decide to rest their stars and lose 2 of the remaining games.

everything you said there is true... but i think the "driver's seat" comments just refer to the fact that the jazz have control over their playoff fate. if they win, they're in.

Why would OKC rest players vs. the Nuggets?...they're in a tight race with the Spurs for the #1 seed in the west.
