Big Al WC Player of the Week

But isnt Big Al the only thing holding us back? The blackhole, the screw the team stat getter, the too soft wussie...The "learned" people have almost convinced me he is horribad and cant be on a winning team. As usual, w/e

Grats to Big Al as he comes through when the team really needed it, leading them to important "gasp" wins. (Or I suppose, in spite of him, will be pointed out here shortly)

well player of the week is stat based.
in some of those wins fvaors had a bigger impact.
as a contender you just can have a no defense big al at center, taking way too many shots at a horrible point/shot rate.
at the center you need defense so the solution is less shots for al and move him to pf. or to the bench.
the reason phx rapes us is ebcause of big al(and yes millsap) bad pick and roll Defense.
the reason we finally beat lakers in la this year is exactly that favors and kanter played great D with their length.
the reason orlando raped us with al at center is because big al refuses to play defense(agian so did millsap, only millsap cant play pick and roll Defense).
nbut yeah player of the week statwise
congrats are in order?

also wondering do players get a trophy for it or some sort of financial bonus.
or is it just worthless words on a peace of paper?

Hopefully Al can have a great playoff series against San Antonio to raise his trade value. He has a pretty good history against Duncan.

Go Bi Gal, its your birthday.

I was thinking the same thing as Torbin. Waiting to trade him until after the playoffs might prove to be brilliant.

Except that winning just as likely means the Jazz WON'T trade him.

Maybe, but we will at least get better offers. You could also make the argument if he wins, the Jazz will realize they can't (or don't want to) pay him, so they will trade him.

Have to give him props. I dislike his game as much as anyone, but as a person he seems like a neat guy with an amazing taste of women.

Sometimes when i see his lack of effort for rebounds i want to take a bite out of that big ol' sweaty back of his, just like his girlfriend

If he continue making stats like this, on one hand im happy he increases his trade value but on the other hand i am afraid they may not trade him which will axe the next 5 years of this franchise.

Congrats, Big Al. He deserves. Good human being.

But, he was 'black hole' many times this season. I still want trade him.

By the way, Harris was better this week, i guess. 20 pts, 6 assts - 23 pts, 7 assts - 27 pts, 4 reb, 4 assts - 21 pts 3 reb and 7 assts. Games between 14 and april 21
