I want to go to my job tonight to watch it, but ugh even though its Hooters I stay the hell away from a job whenever Im not working.

You guys into boxeo? Not one post on this big fight tonight? Everybody sold that Mayweather is just going to skate over Miguel? Im skeptical. We'll see what happens though.

Im gonna stream it during the Jazz game. Would watch it at my friends but they arent watching the Jazz game at all.

Dont know a ton about boxing but it would be awesome to see Mayweather get his *** kicked.

I hate Mayweather.

I pay-per-viewed his fight vs. De La Hoya on Cinco De Mayo in 2007. I have never pay-per-viewed anything since.

I like watching boxing when it's on. I don't follow it or anything, but I like watching it a lot better than MMA. Just seems to have a lot more elegance and strategy.

And 75% of the people who are into MMA are giant tools.

Huh, surprised at the lack of boxing fans.

I grew up watching the sport, my dad has always been huge into boxing. Seeing Tyson end fights within the first three rounds of many fights will never erase from my old memories. Regardless, boxing isn't what it used to be, sadly. I feel privileged to have caught fights like many of Tyson's, the entire Gatti-Ward saga, as well as the earlier dominance of Roy Jones Jr. It just doesn't feel the same anymore though.

FWIW, if there is a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, and Pacquiao wins, I will probably streak butt-naked across the busiest mall in Edmonton. I cannot think of a single professional athlete that I despise with every fibre in my body more than Pretty Boy Floyd.

PS: Boxing >>>>>>>>>> MMA

For me it is not that I despise Floyd as much as it is that Manny is the man. He is one hell of a fighter and from all accounts he is a very good guy. I just like to cheer for those humble, good people.

Mayweather may be an *** but he also may be the most complete fighter in the last 50 years. Speed, power, defense, boxing IQ - the guy is an artist in the ring.

And he not only wins, he dominates. When going the distance he's won by unanimous decision in every fight except one complete screw job against De La Hoya where he won a split decision.

And while Pacquiao has never failed a drug test - neither has Lance Armstrong. How such a small guy goes from under 110 pounds in his early 20's to 150+ pounds in his 30's while still being as ripped and tone as Pac Man is beyond me. Clearly super human.

Works for me. ALso i agree on Mayweather. That is why i want this fight so bad.

I'd say James Toney gives him a good piece of competition for complete fighter. Toney perfected the defense Floyd uses, the Philly Shell and is/was a defensive master. Toney made it to 44-0-1 in 15 years less that it took Floyd to get to 43-0.

Sugar Ray Leonard? Marvin Hagler? Thomas Hearns? Roy Jones Jr?

I hate Paciowh because I have a large group of Filipino friends who worship him, so I naturally hate on him whenever given the chance.

Roy was all athleticism, you can see that with what he has turned into now. Hagler and Hearns is a good debate. Sugar Ray Leonard's career came to an end very badly, and rather early, I feel.

I don't think Hagler, Toney or Jones ever fought Welterweight - at least not in their primes.

I love Thomas Hearns but Mayweather would destroy him. Hearns was a great, great puncher but a very flawed fighter.

Sugar Ray/Mayweather would be a much better fight - but I saw Leonard get hurt many times in his career. I have no doubt Mayweather would handle him.
