Rashard lewis and Washington pick this year

Rashard makes 24 million next year but for only one year. Puts us in track still to sign Harden
 
WE need to sell someone on the idea that Big Al is the next Zach Randolph and try to get some young pieces for him. Because we lost our chance by making the playoffs to do this without moving pieces. IDIOTS just to get swept.
 
Ah puke, doesn't Rashard Lewis suffer from the AK syndrome- A disease spread through a player causing them to suck bad in the NBA because he was offered a buttload more than he should've ever been offered?

Westbrook is more important than Harden. I'm not a huge Westbrook fan, but he gets a lot of undeserved flack. I think they stick with the 3-headed perimeter monster and just find big guys who our defensively focused.

Really? Not crazy, but I'd be shocked. I just don't see winning a championship with 2 combo guards and an ELITE SF taking up all your salary space. Your front line would likely suck.
 
Lewis is only partially guaranteed... $16-$17 million according to reports. Add on the rookie scale and Jazz still save $2.5mm or so.

Yep. On principle alone I'd want nothing to do with Rashard Lewis. Guys been mailing in it for years. And Washington is not going to give up their pick for 2guys they don't need.

As for Harden, he may very well be the most efficient 2 Guard in the NBA - but he'll never be "the man" playing behind Durant and Westbrook. My guess is he goes.

Harden is a guy I really want the Jazz to go after. I'd love to see him in a Jazz uni.
 
I don't think Harden likes Westbrook. I saw in the 3rd or 4th OKC game against Dallas during which Harden took over the point and made some unbelieveable game-winning plays that during a timeout after one of them, Westbrook came over and patted Harden on the back, he completely ignored Westbrook. Not sure what that means, but makes me wonder.

I dont really want Rashard Lewis. I just want their pick. Lewis however though could fill a need short term. He could soread the floor and hit some threes. He did it with Orlando. And they went to the finals. i dont know how he looks lately. Thats where you people come in. Who cares about his contract. Its only for one year.
Or maybe they could use him off the bench

Maybe washington would do it for jefferson to play next to Nene. And then they could maybe they could trade Millsap later at the deadline. Or maybe this could be a three way trade.

I just see Washington wanting to win now to please John Wall. They already look like they are headed in that direction.

I just want that pick. Its worth it to me.
