What's new

So You Want to Play in LA.......

That is just messed up. Another reason for me to dislike the Lakers and everything about them.

It is a world wide thing. Go watch soccer riots...

That's what I was thinking. Wasn't there a soccer fan in South America that blew up a star player with a grenade or something? I might be getting a few different stories confused...

Just shows you how disgusting, and classless their fan base is. We say some stupid things around here, but nothing on that level.
It's fantastic watching age, and other teams catch up with the Lakers. Their time is done.

Some guy who played proffesional soccer scored a goal on his own goal by accident. Some fans killed him

The Dodger fans beating that Giants (?) fan almost to death on stadium grounds

Laker Fans wishing death on Blake

Jazz Fans and some of the crap they yelled at Fisher

Riots after teams win the championship (almost any sport)

For further proof go look at youtube clips of a parent attacking a ref at a little league game over a bad call or something. Pathetic.

Wow.

People are stupid.

Imagine that.

Before we talk about how classless California fans are, weren't there idiots in the Delta Center wearing eyepatches when we played the Lakers in the playoffs a few years ago? Making fun of a players' daughter and her cancer is pretty damn low IMO... At least Blake is an adult...

Riots after games/championships. Why? Your team wins so automatically that gives you a free pass to blow up and damage stuff that isn't yours? HUH???

Just a year or two ago a sophomore football player from Cottonwood High ran to the restroom. Some rival fans came into the restroom, beat the hell out of the kid resulting in a broken leg.

Why? Over some dumbass rivalry game? Plus, the kid was a sophomore who wasn't even involved in the varsity game?

At some point our society has got to wake up.... Right? I love sports. But I really don't get taking them serious enough to beat someone up over or to send death threats to his wife.
