What's new

Brandon Knight?

Yeah, Cy, give it to Stoked, he needs his energy to keep up the trolling/stalking of northeast.

I like Knight and think he would be a good fit here, but I don't see Detroit having interest in Jefferson or Harris. However, if we land the 8th pick in the draft maybe we could turn that into Knight?

Interesting.

Knight, Lillilard, or Marshall? That would be a hard choice.

Lillard appears to be a much better driver and finisher. Knight has shooting on him. Passing may be equal, not sure.

Based on this I would say Knight, Marshall, Lillard.

Need a shooter. If we cannot get that then a pass first point guard would be nice.

It would be hard. But if I had to guess what's going on in KOC's head, I would bet he likes Knight the most out of those three--he was pretty high on him pre-draft. If the opportunity presented itself, I think we would pull the trigger on Knight.

Lillard ahead of Knight for sure. Say they have similar shooting stats - Lillard is much faster with better handle.

Knight is slow.. slow... slow... He's not a PG, he's a PG in a SG body people!

Not sure Detroit would be interested in doing that either way. I think they have seen enough out of Knight to want to go forward with him and not hit the reset button with another rookie (they have the 9th pick also).

Slow? Knight is one of the fastest players in the league.

Also you worded the body thing wrong.

I would say his first step is average, yes, but didn't he do the 3/4 court sprint faster than CP3?

True. Didn't think about their own pick. Still, I think there's something there. It's more fathomable than most of the trade ideas around here...

Knight isn't slow, at all, but his first-step is under-whelming.

That's what I mean - sorry for the confusion.

I'd rather have someone explosive & penetrating player, like a Tony Parker.

Can get into the lane, finish OR dish. Can stay on the 3pt line and shoot some shots.
