That's all speculation. I'm a total *** to everyone, and I only have one infraction. I must have gotten into a flame war with half of the board, and yet, I can't say I actually dislike anyone (I didn't like Craig, but now he's gone). And I don't think I've ever reported anyone. You're just a crybaby.

That's not entirely accurate. I received an infraction last week that was not reported, but 'caught' by the mods. (was a silly harmless alt account that I never even posted with)

How did they catch that?

who harass , gang up on , and then report posters they don't like or disagree with,
and go around repping each others bogus reputations to the moon for their boring posts.

If Chitown disagreed with you he couldn't simply say, "I disagree with you and here's why." He would berate you, call you names and insult your intelligence. Chitown created his own issues with other posters and in a sense, did run himself off.

You don't get banned if everyone is civil to you, JMO.
You don't get banned unless you have enemies that go out of their way to report you.
Mods do not go looking for infractions, they respond to reports.

He certainly dug his own grave. And I'm one of if not the most lenient mods here. The infractions he got were well deserved. Not every thing that was reported against him was worthy, but he would get into a mood (whether it was a drunken mood or just a mood I'm not sure) where he'd fire off some really offensive stuff. His last offense was a bit stunning.

I was only going to use it as a joke .. the username was Wes Mamtooth and I snagged his avatar to make it look similar .. then was just going to post some insanely stupid trade ideas for fun ... oh and treat bluesrocker like a god.

That may well be, and maybe he deserved it, but I am just saying (a) that for things to escalate to that point, there is a good chance he was provoked.and (b) there are some members who seem to enjoy provoking.
