So, I spent all day long at Hill Air Force Base on Sunday at the airshow. Watching the pilots and their aircraft fly was flat out amazing. My favorites were easily the F-16's, the P-51 Mustang and the F-22 Raptor. Sadly the Raptor demonstration was very short and did not even come close to showcasing its capabilities.
One thing that struck me however was the vast difference between the way countries such as China, N. Korea and Russia showcase their military might vs. the way in which the US showcases theirs.

There were booths there from a number of corporations including Geico, Red Bull, Ford, Chase Bank and numerous food vendors. The contrast between the commercialized show compared to the rest of the worlds great armed forces was somewhat comical.
That said, every citizen that wanted was invited and encouraged to see the weaponry up close.
There were at least a dozen large Air Force planes open to the public where you could walk through and actually see the insides of these magnificent craft.
