Listening to a DX podcast with a Raptors dude and it sounds like the Raptors are looking to trade down, not completely out. I bet the do a deal with Houston.

Raptors were rumored to trade either Amir Johnson or Ed Davis. We take on Amir Johnson's contract (3 years left). Raptors have also been rumored to trade Calderon and Harris has more value and is younger.

Maybe give the Raptors the choice to swap with us next year if its needed (Golden State or keep there pick)

Yeah, but if Jefferson is gone, more emphasis will be put on them and the team as a whole.

If Jefferson stays, we could be better, but he is just a difficult piece to integrate as part of a flowing offense. If Corbin can get that machine running, I agree we are better with Jefferson.

So they want to pair the 8th with Bargnani for Gasol? That's plausible.

I think the more realistic trade would be sap to the blazers. Not sure what teams would want to take on an expiring contract unless we took a bad one back. Going to be interesting to see what the jazz end up doing if anything in the draft.
