Draft-day trade targeting

Just curious: With the assumption that the Jazz will attempt to trade into the first round only if a player they are really interested in is available (not for just a best-player available opportunity), who would you hope they are targeting at each of these slots where a trade might conceivably happen (based mostly on location of teams with 2 picks): 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 24, 30? Please try to be realistic--not naming someone who will surely be picked much earlier.

Here’s mine, which I’m trying to base on a good chance to grow/mesh well with our young 4 long term, even as backups (esp. after pick 11):
6: Barnes
8: Lillard
10: against my better judgment, PJ3
11: Marshall
14: Zeller
16: J Taylor
21: Leonard
24: Q Miller
30: much harder, I’d probably go for any of White, Jenkins, O Johnson, D Lamb, D Miller, probably in that order though I don’t know enough to make good judgments here

Jenkins, Taylor, DMiller (shooters)
Marshall (pure PG)

Yes, firstly Marshall though, I liked his play very much, Jazz need a passing PG, it's easier to get some shooters via other ways, either Marshall or Rondo or even Dragic then we can look for some shooters.

Good picks at those spots. repp'd.

I like your picks. I might change Q. Miller over Leonard but I would have to see if Q. Miller has fully recovered from his knee injury.

Lillard is the main guy I would be trying to get in a draft. I would take a bad contract to get him on the team. I would also consider this for Marshall if we could add some shooting.

Everyone else I'm not as high on and would probably just rather stand pat for FA.

I hope we can manage to flat-out buy a pick from some team, I would imagine somewhere in the 20's and get a guy like Royce White, Arnett Moultrie (even though I doubt he stays in the 20's like DX has him now, but if he does please god), Jeff Taylor, or Tony Wroten (yes, I don't like him but I like swinging for the fences in the 20's).

Has anyone seen a careful analysis of the prospects of buying a pick in this draft (with the new CBA)? All I've seen is speculation, but no real arguments backing it up one way or the other.

I know all you can spend is 3 mill.

I see no chance we trade into the Lottery unless KOC's loves Lillard. Buying a pick, if that's available, is more likely. But I think we don't draft anybody except our 2nd.

I'd target Lillard between 8-12 first of all - If the Jazz target a mid round pick my guy would be Terence Ross...

Is there a more boring prospect than Terrence Ross? We have a 500+ draft thread but I don't think we have ever discussed him past mentioning his name.

I could live with this thinking

I really like Terrence Jones as our future SF. He might not be the best shooter, but boy the size of Hayward, Jones, Favors, and Kanter is just scary. I'd take him at 14 or 16.

EDIT: I would be happier though if we got Ersan İlyasova in the free agency. TIL that he's a 6'10'' SF. I think he plays PF for the Bucks, but seems to play like an SF and he shot 45.5% from 3 this year!

Rush not Ross is who we need.

Rush hasn't been on a playoff team in the NBA. I think are making too much of his stats. If he was a really good player the Pacers would still have him and the Warrior's would have played him 30+ minutes a game. That said he is better than Bell and Howard. I think he would be a chucker in the Jazz offense. If we can sign him for Raja Bell money lets do it.
